Lina, you know me well and you know that I do group Power lifting classes and work out with free weights and machines at the gym. *I* USE 5 POUND WEIGHTS WHEN I DO SHRED. 5 pounds is just fine.

She is correct. It is what it is. Strength train, pump, hydrate. Love whatever skin you are in because it is not going anywhere in most cases.

Stay the course. Try to hang in there and just continue your journey. I think for those of us who start out with much more to lose, sometimes it take quite a chunk of weight for those around us, and even ourselves, to really see a huge difference.
