Measurements were mediocre...basically the same as 3/7...mind you, it's lucifers waterfall and some of that may be bloat, but also in counting out March only 12-13 poverty days for the month, so that's just a whole lot of not keeping to the food goals, and a whole month of work for only about a pound of loss... such a…

It is completely unnecessary to suffer from keto flu, it's an electrolyte imbalance as you shed water - water soluble items like salt, magnesium, and potassium are lost and that's problematic. Have a gatorade zero or some other electrolyte drink, there are lots of keto-ade recipes if you prefer to make your own.

Yesterday was maintenance...we went and picked up the college boy and that was fun, but it meant a pre-road trip snack, and a return food plus vitamins because I was crazy hungry...plus, it was kind of nice to change it up, I've not done measurements yet from the sun-thurs poverty but it really doesn't matter when I do my…

had to do some last minute swapping of food, but still it was a decent day and I managed to splurge and have some chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream... so yum!!! and also, still on plan...it's magic...but not rocket science...

yesterday was a struggle...did some snacking after my second workout... unplanned snacking unaccounted for snacking didn't log first so...after I logged that...my options for dinner were beef and lettuce...3rd salad of the day achievement unlocked And that wasn't super satisfying and we were watching Race, which is a…

Last month of Beast...so #1 do all the workouts...#2 keep to the nutrition plan...#3 be active gardening!!! so...by the end of april I should have some exciting new changes to my body as well as some exciting new changes in my yard and gardens

post-seder was a dramatic loss of appetite...I did shoulders, even though the shot shoulder was sore, it was still quite possible and I didn't even have to reduce weights or anything...also, considering upping that workout somewhere...in cut calories I typically don't increase weights, but that workout is just getting too…

yesterday was seder, which was awesome and I didn't track, but I did eat sensibly and I did have a great time...also played poetry for neanderthals and some dream house game afterward, which was a ton of fun

community is working but everything else mfp is down this is why I use fatsecret for food tracking, it's just so much more reliable and it works on my phone which mfp doesn't manage more than half the time yesterday was a struggle and too much food so a maintenance day bummer today is totally 100% on board with the…

had a splurge yesterday...it started when we went valentines day shopping and then decided to hang at the brewery to avoid rush hour traffic...then went home hungry and snacking...then had a late dinner...on the plus side, I did log stuff and so I'm about 500 cals over maintenance for the day but at least I know what the…

The last few pounds/kilos are the hardest...you can aim for a small rate of loss like 1/2 a lb a week or even a pound a month, so you are only cutting out a small number (a hundred or two) calories a day (which hopefully leaves you enough calories to get adequate nutrition). Also, for me I find that it helps not to aim for…

yesterday was hard but also satisfying...i managed to stick to my food goals which was a challenge, particularly on double workouts, but also it's good to flex those willpower muscles and find them still working I did pick up mini cinnamon rolls at costco, and white cheddar cheese balls at food lion, so while shopping…

yesterday was kind of a relaxing day only worked 3 hours then spent forever in a car going up to tysons corner and back to get my darling husband the covid vaccine...had a nice lunch at the mall from panda express...wow, logged those calories too late...went and got taxes done...skipped dinner, but then had a big big…

Weekend was good...my tracking on Saturday wasn't exactly right, a lot of guesswork in eating out and late night snacking and such...Friday was right on target, as was Sunday, so I'm not going to fret too much about one poorly tracked day and a maintenance day to boot...I think the 5 days of poverty and 2 days of…

I find that when those hungry days come around, which is almost always the case during a certain week of the month, I can eat higher volume (but still low calorie) foods and it will help take the incessant hungries away...so I'll fill up on salad or green beans or broccoli or other non-starchy veggies, so my stomach gets a…

Vaccines can't stop the spread until they reach a herd immunity level...at this point my state is only about 11% vaccinated, it's not enough to stop the spread...not even enough to considerably slow it...but as the percentage of population vaccinated increases, it will slow and then stop the spread of covid, it's just…

I don't know how anyone could get tired of eggs there's like a million ways to cook them...this morning I had a brisket and bleu cheese omelette, which turned into more of a scramble because it stuck to the pan, but still delicious... In any case, when I'm not eating eggs for breakfast, I usually do a salad, something like…

Another mediocre checkpoint...but this one after a good week of sticking to plan...boobs are up, which likely means some water retention from impending pms week has started... belly button was down half an inch, as was hips...no progress on lower belly, but my ribs and upper abs are definitely getting more defined... will…

When switching from a primarily glucose based metabolism to a ketone based metabolism it does take about 6 months for new mitochondria to be fully generated. However, for me I find that my energy typically lags when electrolytes are off and having a gatorage zero or some other kind of electrolyte drink helps immensely in…

Wed was good...kept food on track despite the temptation of a holiday and game night...super proud of myself for doing that, it wasn't even a challenge, so this is getting easier over time...also did Arms... thinking about doubling up today since I'll be gone to the other house over the weekend...if I do cardio/abs at…

Tuesday, very good...weights plus cardio...too tired for stretching, but I need to stop skipping that all the time, my flexibility will certainly suffer...so strong an urge to snack and munch, but I resisted and kept calories into target levels. I jumped on the scale this morning and was 145...no way I went from 160 to 145…

I prefer to keep myself smooth except in designated areas...but I prefer my partner hairy...

Monday was mostly good...did my chest workout as scheduled, and made up glutes from sunday's schedule...calories were not quite poverty, but only off by about 100 cals, which isn't a ton...and mostly good nutrition...so, all in all not bad and definitely a step in the right direction. Looking forward to measurements this…

Thurs/Fri were maintenance Sat was low but not poverty low Sun was poverty as planned This is pretty good for a weekend at the beach, where we are doing a lot of work on the house and mostly eating out just because of convenience and a general lack of desire to have to cook after a full day of manual labor....five coats of…

Thursday might be a super intense workout day because I've decided to try to go to the beach house and do the poly this weekend, so I need to try to get ahead of the workouts or I'm going to be super far behind...also need to eat at poverty, but eat well so that I can recover from all the workouts and survive the intense…

Wed was good...poverty plus workout, plus tons of shopping at Lowes to get all the things to start fixing up the house for sale...super stoked about all that...

eggs and salads sounds vegetarian - you can find lots of keto vegetarian recipes and food lists... Non-starchy vegetables: spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, kale, cauliflower, zucchini, and bell peppers Healthy fats: olive oil, coconut oil, avocados, MCT oil, and avocado oil Nuts: almonds, walnuts, cashews, macadamia nuts,…
