oh girl ~ I am TOTALLY with you! I always carry water for anything over 5. Its not so much that I HAVE to have it - but I've been out and NOT had it and felt terrible. getting dehydrated on any run would be NO BUENO! and yes - when I see people that dont have it, I just wonder "why not?". but - if they're runners, then…

I agree - no reason to be a hermit. You run 4 or 5x a week - I still went out (mind you, I didnt go crazy). But I still had wine, I ate "healthier" (no greasy food, more protein) but it didnt disrupt my life. Im happy to have my Saturday mornings back (since that was my long run day - so THAT changed). But other then…

OMG - THIS! love it - so true To reiterate all the other posts - a Full is SOOOO much harder then the half. - mentally and time commitment wise. the body - it'll keep going. I just finished my 3rd - and its so funny when you get to about 12miles and the 'Halfers split off from the 'Fullers - and its SOOO tempting to just…

I gained about 20lbs within 1 year, first on Prozac and then Celexa (the 20 came on with Prozac & stayed around with Celexa). My doctor put me on Wellbutrin a few months ago - because its suppose to actually help w weight loss - but its more of an "upper" then an SSRI. So it can actually elevate your heartrate, make you…

if you've lost 3lbs in 7days is there some other reason why you're asking about your diary? Cause that sounds like awesome results to me *i'd trade you in a second

I have both (started with the FT7 -lost it - bought the FT4 as replacement, then FOUND the FT7) honestly - i dont notice a difference, BUT... i really only use it for the HRM. So basic count is all i need and either works great!

Im not against the concept of higher calories (for losing weight) in general - but Im getting married in August - I started this journey 5 months ago - thinking 8-9months of healthy "dieting" would get me to my goal - clearly is hasnt 5 months in, and I've got nothin to show for it. Now I have 3 months to reach my goal?…

HAHAH! I love it already

Thanks everyone! I love this place  I really appreciate all this advice. Its really freaking frustrating. And, honestly, if I didnt have a "deadline" (my wedding on August 11), I wouldnt be stressing or concerned as much about the success/fail, slow-to-no progress I've been having Starting this 5months ago, I assumed…

agreed & very well said I would be just as upset & hurt as you - but i think its a very "grey" area here - is it cheating, is it not - its a sexual act that is NOT with you - BUT - its not actually "physical"? I guess it boils down to whether, in your heart, you consider it to be cheating or not. I dont know It sounds like…

Same boat - fun, right? I cant give you any advice because i've been working out/eating right for 4months now and havent seen a dent in terms of progress (weight loss or inches) all I can do is tell you that I feel your pain - it is extremely frustrating - and I want to "cave" all the time too just dont. all my…

same here (minus the babies) but my family doesnt know I like to smoke - so if Im around them, I cant have em - and Im fine! (no feelings of withdrawl) I just LIKE to smoke. ... on a side note - -- I have my 3rd marathon coming up in 2 weeks and while I dont want to jinx myself, I have smoked during the training for all 3…

MidMay is still a long ways away to be dealing with this stuff on a daily basis - is there some reason you're not leaving NOW?
-
I agree with the other posters - Im getting married in 4months and while I am no where NEAR close to my ideal "goal weight" for being a bride - there is no way I would even think about changing my date. Of course we all want to look our best on the day of - but, reality - your groom will think you're gorgeous no matter…

YAY Runners! 1) When running out doors, does the heat and/or strong winds slow you down? strong winds - i prefer, as it keeps me cool; but heat - oh heck yes - and sunscreen is a must! and try to get a running pack (wear around your waist - I like Nathan's the best - you can find on Amazon) with a water bottle so you stay…

10000% - thats me too! i go with "if i saw this in someone else's cart, would i know they were trying to be healthy?".... judgement of others works really well for me in this instance - and yes - its easier for me to resist the temptation in the store vs in my cupboard!
-
^^ This is what I use and I love it! SUPER userfriendly and yep - FREE:bigsmile: GPS always works & chimes in at every mile to let you know your pace (optional) and you can share your workouts w friends.

Also - I've noticed that a lot of ladies with the same weight/height still carry things differently :grumble: So sizes .... Im a 8/10 (wearing 29 jeans today - but have a 30's that are too tight.. who knows) up top - 34B:sad: and M/L I carry almost all of my weight in my butt/thighs -
