  • I have lost 35 pounds using MFP Goals. I did not go over 1200 calories per day and 1500 mg of sodium. I customized (per doctor recommendations) my potassium and fiber also. I am now on maintainance. Good luck!

  • I have lost 40 pounds in 5 months using MFP and I post everyday. It could be you are using too much sodium. That is a killer. Also drink at least 64 oz. of water daily. If you like you can send me a request to be your pal and I will review you diary for you. My son also has lost 80 pounds this year using MFP.

  • I had not been sucessful in losing weight until I got on this site. I have lost 20 pounds since 4/28/11. This site is a God send. It tracks everything for you and it is so easy. Fill in a calories, weight, goals, etc. and you will be sucessful. Good luck!
  • If you are eating at one of your family's home, take your scale. If they have a computer, log in, and view each food caloriie count it is.   • No it hasn't. I have been taking thyroid meds for 10 years and I have blood test every 90 days and the only I find is that I am tired if it is low. I WISH it helped my weight loss. Low thyroid raises your bad cholestrol, which is good for you! Good luck of your new advernture.

  • My recommendation is that you purchase a digital scale for home. They are inexpensive. By just using this one scale (besides WW weigh in) you have a stable weigh in. Using other scales can drive you crazy. Good luck and keep going on your transformation.

  • lol. You see the bad naked bodies of all the seniors that use the locker room at my senior center. Everything sags in the wind, tats that you can't determine the original tat, veins, veins, etc. It really make me feel good about the body I have. You just got to laugh it off.
  • You can use sodium free herbs and spices all you want. Use lime juice with in them and marinades. You will have "zero" calories. I use the note pay in the daily food charts and list this is what I did for further reference. Good luck!
