  • Keep going. Don't give up. Make sure you stay with your calorie allowance and watch you sodium. Sodium is a killer. I added a column to track my sodium. Good Luck and welcome to MFP.
  • I agree that you need a new doctor ASAP. 900 calories is to low and then you would quit and gain the weight you lost. Good luck!
  • I chose to only have 1500 in sodium per day and this makes a big difference. I know you are in an area where it is hot and salt intake has to be regulated. Ask a doctor there what you should have as you have to have a happy balance.

  • This tip was given to me 20 years ago and it works for me. Everytime you use the bathroom, drink water. Also drink a glass prior to each meal. Good Luck!

  • Use load of herb and spices and it make a wonderful difference. Also I use cook onions and red pepper and make sure you carmalize to onions. Yummy!

  • I use non-fat/skim milk as I want to keep my bones strong and I have 2 cups per day. I adjut the rest of my food to accomplish this.
  • I found the easiest way is to take a walk right after arriving home. It always give me energy and once I started taking my walk I would walk further than I had planned. Good Luck!

  • Hi Lyndyb88: You can do some chair exercise but keep you knee in mind at all times. Use your arms while sitting in a chair, i.e. over your head, side lifts and you can use weights or soda cans to add resistance. Good luck!

  • Have you kept your sodium in chec?. You should be only having 1500mg and you will see the difference. For myself I do NOT count the calories that I lose when excerising because I want to stay in the habit of eating 1200 calories per day. I have lost 8.6 pounds in less than 4 weeks.   • How is your sodium/salt intake? I recommend 1500 mg per day and it makes a BIG difference. If you sodium if off therefore a weight gain.
