I might eat a higher protein snack or drink a protein shake (Vega - Whole Food Health Optimizer) before or after a run, but unless you are doing in excess of say 6 (if you are just starting out) or 10 (if you have been running for a while) then there is no real need to change your diet drastically.
  • Vega - Whole Health Optimizer. It is Vegan and has some of the best ingredients for your body out there. They modified the mix a bit in the past couple of months and now call it Vega One, but it really is better for you than most of the other "protein" powders you can get out there.
