The 1st time I lost a lot of weight (50 pounds) I just ran and did work on my abs. I added weight lifting after I lost my weight. This time I'm doing both. We will see how it works lol.

I lost the love of my doggy life a few years ago. I had to have him cremated to be able to bury him in our yard, he was a Mastiff. I know it sounds silly but it just made me feel better to know he was still near us.

For me it was a year after my 3rd child. I realized it had been a year and I still couldn't wear my wedding band. I lost half before getting pregnant again. I swore after my 4th I wasn't getting my ring re-sized I was going to re-size myself.

Bob Harper Inside Out Cardio uses weights off and on, his Inside Out Strength uses weights non stop. For an hour. His DVDs are around 10 at Target or I think you can get the boxed set from his site fairly cheap.

I am by no means an expert and I'm sure others who are will respond, but have you thought about incorporating strength training at all? Or doing HIIT?
