  • I prefer the "rare and appropriate" way of thinking. Birthday party? Eat that pizza. Thanksgiving? Mmm all the carbs Work event? Have a ball with whatever they're having. Go on a date? Get what you want from the menu. Going out as a family and all the kids want to go somewhere that it's difficult to log or eat within your…
  • I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and this time around has been th most successful ever, and I did it by learning more about myself in addition to the basics. Here are the things I've learned about myself, personally... I am most likely to overeat when I eat a "trigger food" aka something I REALLY like. The…
  • The general recommendation is 1% of your body weight. So if you weigh 59kg that would be about 1.3 pounds per week. I weigh 332 at the moment, so I try to lose around 3-3.5 pounds per week, and usually do. But I am also 6'3", plus the fact that I weigh a lot more than you, so my intakes would be of no use.
  • Half time in Kent, Ohio Other half in Scarborough, Ontario 23 6'3" HW: 425 CW: 346 GW: 225 (121 left to go) Anyone feel free to add me and my friend, both of us are looking for a strong support group. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/user/crazybeautifulmess89/status is hers. My diary is open.
  • Have more than 50 to lose. 6'3" with 121 lbs to go. ANYONE CAN ADD ME IF YOU'D LIKE! ALL REQUESTS ACCEPTED!
  • I will never cut anything completely out. It is perfectly okay to indulge yourself in moderation. Restricting yourself is only going to make it harder. My lifestyle changes have included cutting soda out of every day life. If I go out with friends or I am at a family member's/friend's house, I might have one glass or can…
  • I am going to send you a request as well if that is okay. I have a diagnosed addiction to food due to being raised in a food-restricted poverty level home, and a binge disorder stemming from my bipolar. Basically, I would hoard food for a week or so, and when I "go manic" I eat and eat and eat until I cannot move for hours…
  • Thank you all so much for your help and concern! Unfortunately I have a very addictive personality and used to abuse sleeping pills and nyquil, so I try to stay away from those things =/ I called my case worker today, though, and she is going to try to check on my medicaid application and if that goes through then I will…
  • Ugh you have no idea how happy it made me that someone understands completely! (although it sucks that we have to go through these episodes) Thank you for your advice. Perhaps trying to get a good workout in when I go manic is a good idea and I will be trying this in 3...2...1...BYE! :)
  • Thank you all. I will start using midnight as my mark. Yes, I am sure a doctor could do that, if I could afford to go to one. Unfortunately I cannot, so it is not even an option for me to get meds because even if I could afford the doctors visit, the meds would cost too much.
  • 23, 6'3" and 75 lbs down, 125 to go. Everyone is welcome to add me, even if you aren't in the early 20s category!
  • I am a part time Canadian if that counts? lol I live in Toronto/Scarborough about half of the year because that's where my boyfriend is and will hopefully be moving there eventually :)
