  • I recently purchased the Garmin Forerunner 305. I love it! So far I've only used it for tracking my runs using the GPS as well as calculating my time/distance and calories burned. I've only had it for a couple of weeks but so far no complaints. I am bumping this one....looking forward to what others have to say!
  • I started C25K last week. I beleive I covered 3.11km to 3.75km on my first week. I did W2D2 today and covered 3.85km. I run outside and live on an upfill street so my workouts tend to last an extra 5 mins because once I make it back up the hill I walk around to the end of the street to cool down before being done.

  • Hi there! I too have a desk job...I make it a point to take a 25 or 30 min walk on my lunch break. On rainy days I try to walk up to the top floor of my building (10 floors) and back down. a few times a day. Its amazing how many calories you can burn doing stairs! Good Luck! :flowerforyou:

  • Hmmm...very weird. I highly doubt that your apartment door jumped .57 miles LOL! I'm going to check mine tonight. My HRM said that I had done 3.11 km in 30 mins. I'm not sure that I have a pedometer setting on mine but at least I can compare the km from monday night. Well done!! :flowerforyou:

  • Good for you! Sounds like what I did...went from using 18% cream to half and half to 2% to skim in my decaf coffee! LOL! Now I skip the coffee all together! I also started using Unsweetened Almond Milk in my cereal. Mmmmmm delicious! Well Done!! :flowerforyou:
