I do the same thing, cooler and a baggie. Depending on where you are too....I'm in Chicago so the water is quite cold and I don't ususally go all the way in and will sometimes just leave the pump on. It can be submerged just not for long periods of time. I also wear a Medtronic Minimed. Have fun!!!

I'm so glad I read this! I have a minimed pump and hate it! My dogs constantly get caught up in the tubing and rip it out! Not to mention my new insurance doesn't cover nearly enough for the supplies. I had no idea about the omni pump! I just signed up online to see if i'm covered. Thank you!!!
