  • Oops. Started posting in the wrong forum.. won't let me delete. Sorry.
  • When I reached my goal weight last year, I encountered an old acquaintance and she was a little over the top. Telling me I was way too thin etc. I told her that I was actually in the middle range for my height and small bones according to the chart at my Doctors office. She told me I should get a new Dr. LOL! At the time…
  • Hi everyone! Just wondering how everyone is doing? Anything changing for you ladies and gents? Even if it's not extreme it's progress, it's a journey. So tell us about it! *smiles* Personally I would like to see everyone succeed. My own journey has gone a little sideways lately. I am definitely interested in hearing about…

  • I mention this a lot and it's weird but, watermelon. When it is in season. Vit C, lots of water, natural sugars (although a lot of them), very low calories. I eat approximately a cup of it, almost as a desert after certain meals. It makes whatever I just ate seem a lot more filling and it's delicious! Also makes me happy…
  • Nicole_Trippler: Some things that help me personally: Planning my meals the day before. So I am not rushing to find healthy things to eat when I am hungry. I attempt to spread my calories out over the day. I give myself snacks to help between meals. I attempt to leave a small surplus of calories for the very end of the…
  • Hi everyone. My weekly check in. I'm happy to say I have lost most of my 4th of July splurge! Currently residing at 129.2. So 9.2 Lbs to go! Friend me if you want to watch the roller coaster that is my weight loss journey! *grins* I'm a little psyched up! Let's all round up those extra pounds and send them packing!! :)
  • You can! Go for it! :)
  • Murr, fourth of July weekend killed my progress. Lol! Rained the whole weekend and instead of going out side I ate "the world"! Gained three pounds! I'll get it off again asap, so no worries! Just reporting in. I hope that's OK to do once a week..?
  • To Jennifer: I eat watermelon when I get a late night sweet tooth. It's my go to for as long as it's in season. To Everyone: Hi there, I'm aiming for my last 8 lbs. Goal weight is 120 lbs. I'm 5'4 and got there last year. An injury helped get the pounds back on. This time going at it slower and more cautiously. I have…
  • It would help to know where you heard it from. My husband read an article about fasting. Unfortunately he's not here for me to ask him about it. He told me it mentioned timing your fasts around bedtime to help you get through a lot of your hours while sleeping. If you were trying to fast for 12 to 16 hours or more, I guess…
  • The only thing I can add to the other comments is to read the ingredients. If they put a group ingredient in, then those are often loaded with fillers. I don't have a label near me so a poor example of a grouped ingredient would be like "energy boosting mix", something along those lines. Where they don't really say what is…
  • Zumba is my favorite way to do cardio and burn calories. The most fun work out for me honestly. Drank like four glasses of water for every one hour session though! LOL
