You're an absolute inspiration to everyone! You look amazing!

I completely agree. I think it's really sad when a group of people that are used to being judged or feeling self-conscious would jump on another person just because that person is not of the norm on this site. Being your normal for you weight shouldn't be something that we look down on. What? You can't have goals if you…

Congrats on meeting your goal. I would say to gain lean muscle, you need to eat a consistent amount of protein. You have to make sure that you are feeding your body enough protein to repair any muscle damage you do while strength training so that it can repair and grow new muscle. Also, without enough calories for that…

They are 236 calories for TWO muffins (without a low sugar jelly or preserve... lower sugar or sugar free would be even lower calorie) and they are Yummy !

That's fantastic! When your doctor asks what's your secret, then you know you're definitely on the right track. GREAT JOB! CONGRATULATIONS!

I've got the same problem.... I just make sure to try to stretch really well; it's muscle soreness and tightness for me. I have been increasing my running, so I know that that's what it's from.... I am going to increase my yoga and pilates to help stretch my muscles and make sure I build muscle to support my running and…

Totally in! I got this!

I DID IT! Yay... and I did them in one sitting... I did 120 regular and 80 side crunches... that was much harder than I thought it would be :)
-
Wish Doctors thought the same... If I don't lose a certain amount of weight, I'm still considered overweight .... it kind of stinks too because I do feel much better about myself than what the scale says... I have more muscle than many people with my stature, it just stinks...

I did good the majority of the week but can feel my appetite getting the best of me. If I'd choose things that were healthy all of the time, then I wouldn't be in this situation, but I was good most days and on the days that I wasn't so good, I was still good at least half of the day on those days. Still managed to drop 2…

Thanks for posting! I love this...

What I've found myself doing is going through the database and inputting what I want to eat in there and seeing if it's worth it. I wanted some Easter candy so freaking bad, so I grabbed some and went to the computer and looked up what the calories were... that's how I chose what I wanted to eat over what.... I had a fun…

Be good to your knees... I tore my ACL last year and have really learned to listen to my body. If your knees are hurting, give them a rest for a day or so... if you don't listen to your body, it could make it much worse ... trust me...

I'd love to join your little group. I gotta have a beer or something just about every evening... I've found a way to figure it into my calories... I just don't see myself living without a beer or a glass of wine... plus, I totally need a cheat day or something every month or so to have a few drinks :-) :drinker:

You look almost like two different people in those pictures... oh, and you have lost more than both of my kids weigh :) Awesome job!
-
shoot... I want to lose 50 pounds in a year... so I'm thinking 30 is a little too much in a month...
-
That's pretty much what I do too... I stay within my calories but I eat something I really want... like a big hamburger from mcdonald's or Wendy's ... baha... but that means no snacks and smaller other meals... but sometimes eating a hamburger and fries is totally worth eating less the rest of the day :)

I love Oikos as well! Yes, you HAVE to get the flavored kind but those are soooo good and low calories but with all the good stuff in it! Plus if you add granola it's gonna be a great meal... I eat it without anything added as a snack when I'm about to die of starvation (usually between lunch and dinner ;) Plus all the…

You should try the Oikos greek yogurt, blueberry, honey or caramel flavored... It's really yummy... and still low in calories... with all the good proteins... :)
-
I wouldn't keep your actively as light... you aren't sedentary at your second job AT ALL... I think that setting is for people, like me, who ... if they aren't cleaning just sit on the computer and do homework or sit in the floor and play with my kids... baha

I love dijonnaise... it's creamy dijon mustard... It's really good on tuna sandwiches... and it's very low calories ... 5 calories per serving

I'm a SAHM mom and could definitely use the motivation. I am an Air Force vet, was in the Air Force for 6 years. Had my son 6 months before I got out in 2006; gained a ton of weight during that pregnancy and haven't shed that weight yet. The second baby, I did good, only gained 11 pounds with her, but I'm still carrying…

There is a good message on one of the "please read this for newcomers" that has a link to a great post about the different stages we go through in weight loss.... sounds like you have hit a plateu... keep it up though... you'll get through it.

I'm in! I'd love to be down 40 pounds by Christmas :)
