I agree with this guy.

I like all the drinks!! But I will say, I love me some top shelf.

I had a friend who is Jewish and eats Kosher. She was the opposite.... would eat meat at home if she prepared it herself, but in all other arenas, she would eat vegetarian only, and would usually just tell people, "yes, I'm a vegetarian" because it is easier than explaining all the details.

Ahhhh! Punctuation!

I forgot to mention spice cake. Also an acceptable fall/thanksgiving dessert. Yum.

In terms of the sweet stuff, I think cinnamon is like a Thanksgiving requirement. Put it in your sweet sides and in your desserts, and it will be very reminiscent of an American autumn. Bonus spices include nutmeg, cloves, or allspice. Doesn't matter if it's apples, pumpkin, sweet potato, custard, bread pudding-y casserole…

Depends how much you sweat and how much your whole body moves as you clean! I never log light cleaning, but I would log heavy cleaning because it doesn't happen very often, and when I get into it, it ends up being a LOT of work! (no...... I'm not a Type B procrastinator at all.........) ;-)

Does anyone else think the word "prong" is hilarious and weird?

BIRTHDAY TWINS!!!!!!! July 21 is the best day to enter the world.

I just used the word "fat" in a post earlier today to refer to the squishy rolls that are on full display when I work out in m'spandex and tight shirts!
-
I too feel self-conscious when running past other people. I work out in tight clothing because I get distracted by the feeling of a bunch of extra fabric clawing at my body everywhere, so my fat rolls are on full display at all times. But -- the awkward feeling doesn't last long, and I think to myself: "Even though I'm…

I drink ice water with breakfast every morning, and then when I get to work, I have a 12 oz coffee.

Either nothing or a pair of undies usually. I used to always wear pjs, but once I met my other half, mostly nothing all the time. Sometimes when he is away I will wear a t shirt and shorts to bed, for old times sake... I think I do sleep slightly better in clothes, but I've been doing the nothing thing for so long, it…

I would also say, I actually enjoy the fashion statement that the Fitbit Flex makes. I am definitely sure this would not be for everyone. I myself love it. 1. I have several colors of bands, and I can switch them out to go with my outfits, which is fun. 2. It is very obviously visible to me, so when I see it all day long,…

I don't know anything about the other kinds, but I do love my Fitbit Flex. I think it is really comfortable, and it is very motivating to keep me moving!! It does count false steps, but it also misses some steps if I'm carrying something or pushing a shopping cart. I don't really care how 100% accurate it is, I more like…

My parents taught me that throwing away/getting rid of things is important and feels good! And thus I am not a hoarder, and I am so glad.

Lost 1 lb this week! Bringing my grand total up to 2 lbs lost so far! I have a ways to go until Christmas...... but hey, forward progress is forward progress!!

Oh, you have SOOOOO got this. You can do it. You are all over it! I would recommend that you force yourself to run the whole distance before the actual race day, because you will already have nerves from being in an official race... you don't need extra stress that day! And then you know you will be able to do it. I might…

Today, I had carrot and celery sticks for snack, and a container of leftover risotto from dinner last night for lunch. Usually, I have some kind of bag of veggies or a salad, a small sandwich, apple slices or bag of chips, small yogurt. Depends what I have on hand to throw in there!
-
It's not just about kids getting fat. It's more about kids developing their nervous systems so that their sensory processing develops well. Having sensory experiences doing all sorts of physical activity (like digging in the dirt for worms, and running around at recess) is critical to brain development for children. It…

I had a crispy chicken sandwich and a side salad with Italian dressing from McDonald's for lunch today. It was 555 calories (I only put on 1/2 the dressing). I feel full now, and I think it will tide me over until dinner. I think things like getting grilled chicken with no mayo or anything of substance will probably leave…

Ok, didn't see you were a vegetarian until after I posted. Grilled fish sandwich then? Pub foods are hard for vegetarians on a diet, I'm assuming! Or pescatarians, or whatever.
-
GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH, no cheese, no sides. I mean, order a side, but then don't eat it. I think most grilled chicken sandwiches are between 500 and 650 calories, especially if all you have is a chicken breast, bun, mayo, and lettuce/tomato.

I vote for using a knife, for getting it out of the jar and into the measuring spoon, and then again for getting it from the spoon to the container. Not totally foolproof, but probably mostly less messy.
