I recently bought a Ta-Ta Tamer from Lululemon & I really like it. It's the best one I've found.

First, Good For You! Second, Do you have a sister, friend, friend's wife, wife's friend or anyone you're close to that you can go shopping with? Preferably someone who knows about your weight loss and can celebrate your success with you by buying some snazzy new duds? I know for myself that I was so self-conscious of my…

Great post! Yeah, you'll question my choices about a salad but not a cheeseburger & fries? Hmmmm?

YAY! Omg that's an awesome nsv! Try to remember that feeling and think about it at least once a day to help remind you how beautiful you are and how far you've come!
-
LOL! We've come full circle - as a pre-teen it was "please god let me grow boobs" and now we're praying "please god don't let me lose 'em!"

I'm just guessing too of course, but I agree, I would bump it up to lightly active and give yourself a good 2-3 weeks to see if you're still losing weight. If not, try making adjustments. Good Luck!

Yup, I'm totally with you on that! And don't even get me started on how I look in video!!! Yikes!

Yay You! I just started 3 weeks ago & I'm actually loving it! Have you heard of a program called Couch to 5K? It's the same idea of increasing your run time gradually and lessening the walking in between. If you have a smartphone you can download an app with timers that keep track of it all for you - it's GREAT! Good Luck!…

Wow, that's so cool! I guess she needed a reality check! Now the tough part is sticking with it, she's going to need you now more than ever. Keep it up - you're a great friend!

Pull the covers over your head and call it done!

Baby steps. Be there for her and offer suggestions of *small* changes she can make. I started out almost 5 months ago just deciding that I should eat more veggies. That's it. Then I made one more change, then one more and now I've lost 29 pounds and have taken up running which I NEVER thought I would or could do. She's…

Who doesn't love a post like that??? Thanks for the pick-me-up! You ROCK!

Oh that's gotta suck!!! I really feel for you. I've been crampy the last 2 days and have skipped running, but really, I could have done it if I'd just gotten off my *kitten* and DONE it. You on the other hand, maybe not, eh? I've had a couple of months with worse-than-usual cramps since I started dieting and exercising and…

That's a big difference for 14 pounds - you can really see it! Way to go!

Great, now I have to take my laptop to work with me so I can read the entire original thread. I'm PMSing today and could really use the laugh.

LOL!

Waka Waka by Shakira Waving Flag (the upbeat version) by K'Naan I just finished my c25k and while I was running today, All Fired Up by Pat Benetar came on and I almost cried while running. The lyrics go... I believe there comes a time when everything just falls in line. We live and learn by our mistakes, the deepest cuts…

I got a prescription for Champix (I think its called Chantrix in the US) and it seemed to be helping with the addiction part, but for me it's the physical action that I can't beat. I know it's totally in my head, because if I stay at home for 2 days straight I don't need to smoke but if I drive anywhere, go to work, or…

Cheeeeeeese. And cheeseburgers. And pizza (loaded with cheese of course!). I do eat some in moderation, but it's just not the same :0(

when you first start eating healthier and being more active, you will lose a lot of water weight, and the first few pounds always seem to come off pretty quickly. it will level out within the next week or two. enjoy it as a GREAT kick start, cuz it is SOOOOO motivating to see that 'pounds lost' number go up.

I would usually think "good for her", and then either "thank goodness i'm not the biggest girl in the class" or "i hope i can keep up with her". but EVEN if i was thinking that she was bigger than me, i'd still be thinking "good for her" and sometimes i've even thought "crap, she's bigger than me and i still can't keep…

oh that's cool. i gotta find or take a picture and do that tomorrow. thanks for sharing!

I'm on week 3. i figured that lots of people do cardio 5-6 times a week so a half hour run/walk would be fine to do almost every day. I ran 6 times the first week but only 3 the second week because I was busier (and hungover). This week I'm planning to alternate a week 3 day with a week 1 day so that I can work on…

Every morning, sometimes twice (before & after workout or potty break)! I record them all on a calendar and log my average weight for the entire week because it fluctuates a lot.

My rings are getting looser but I'm trying to hold off getting them sized as long as possible by wearing them on different fingers. My watch is moving around a lot more too but it's kind of a nice reminder when I notice it. I'm hoping my calves will get thinner soon cuz I really want to buy a pair of sexy tall boots this…

That is SO AWESOME! And never having been runner, I totally get it! I'm so ridiculously proud of myself and happy that I could (and sometimes do) babble on about it at length. My 10 year old daughter know exactly how far I go each day and how many calories I burn and what hurt or didn't. It's sad but it's just so exciting…

HOLY!!! You look great! Excellent work!
