  • Trying to incorporate one or two 600 calorie days each week. Here's a pound of steamed veggies and 7oz of Tyson chicken tenders with a little bit of wasabi and light soy sauce.
  • Up two pounds. Bleh. I did eat a monstrosity of a salad yesterday and drank a bunch of water. I'll go against my weekly weigh in and try again in a day or two.
  • Another 3 1/2+ lb. salad going down the hatch. Weight loss and better health is simple on OMAD. No such thing as Diet Prison! Lettuce, celery, mushrooms, cucumber, bell peppers, wax peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, red onions, 8 oz. turkey breast, 2 oz. sliced ham, turkey pepperoni, shredded colby cheese, 1 tbsp chia seeds,…
  • Go to the bottom of a thread and press the camera icon on the right, then again on the left.
  • Great job Annie and John. You can really see the difference between your before and after facial pictures.

  • Stellar progress! OMAD is the best.
  • Brenda, I usually see folks who do LC only eat 20g of carbs per day. I couldn't do that, so if 60g is still somewhat low, I'll take it. In 2010, I lost nearly 100 lbs. on Medifast. My daily carb intake was between 85-100g and the weight just came off, but I didn't feel good. If I eat that many in a day, I'm not bothered by…
  • DebSozo, I was very excited to eat dinner that day. We like to do breakfast for dinner maybe once a month, but we never have cereal in the house. In fact, I hadn't eaten a bowl of cereal since our vacation to Mexico last September. My wife and I are also trying to incorporate more fruit into our diet, and the first thing…
  • Not doing LC, but trying to not go over 60g per day or so.
  • Haha, yes! I may have even fist bumped myself.
  • 1/4/17 - Start 1/14/17 - 359.6 1/21/17 - 357.2 (-2.4/2.4) 1/28/17 - 352.6 (-4.6/7.0) 2/4/17 - 347.0 (-5.6/12.6) Today is a good day. :)
  • Three scrambled eggs, a little over half a pound of spicy sausage, topped with cheese and salsa. One serving of Kashi cereal, 6 oz of 1% milk, and one serving of frozen bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. About 1100-1200 calories. YUMMMMM.
  • Great post. I'm also a data guy, but never thought about weighing for the purposes that you point out. Thank you.
  • Homemade Chicken Parmesan topped with mozzarella and Italian Sausage Garlic sauce. Alongside it is a pound of steamed Normandy vegetables. Diggin' in!
  • I have quite a few professional wrestling and music t-shirts that just don't fit because of how big I've gotten. Some of those shirts haven't been worn one time. To say that I'm looking forward to continued shrinking and the expansion of my wardrobe is an understatement.
  • Weighing daily, weekly, monthly, etc... is all personal preference. If you go into each weighing session knowing that your body can fluctuate and you're on good terms with your efforts, the numbers hopefully won't affect you too much. For me, weighing every day became a chore. The scale wasn't always accurate as I'd have…
  • I concur with Joe. In 2003, I weighed roughly 425 lbs. If it wasn't for a lack of funds and insurance issues, I would've had gastric bypass surgery. Even though I haven't treated my health very well due to lack of consistency, I'm so glad that I didn't pursue it further. There's just something about having my insides…
  • I've been eating way too much meat the past week, so it's time for Meatless Wednesday. Two Mission Carb Smart tortillas with Old El Paso black refried beans (a little over one whole serving on the plate), steamed onions/peppers (13 oz total on the plate). reduced sugar corn (a whole serving on the plate), Colby shredded…
  • I'm curious about the net carb gimmick. Can we truly deduct carbs based on the dietary fiber? Just looking for an explanation. I remember calculating net carbs when I did Weight Watchers many moons ago.
  • Things are still going well. My next splurge day will be Super Bowl Sunday. I'm going to do my best to stay at or under maintenance. My splurge days are every two weeks, so I'll definitely be ready to rock and roll. I've also talked a couple of my buddies into trying OMAD. I have the desire to inspire, I suppose.
  • Can these be found in Wal-Mart? My wife makes homemade tortillas that are delicious and as healthy as you can get from scratch, but I'm very interested in these low carb ones.
  • This was from last Friday the 27th. Steamed mixed vegetables and a scratch calzone. My wife makes the dough with only four ingredients. Flour, red star yeast, water, and salt. The calzone was filled with ham, pepperoni, jalapeño peppers, and cheese. Around 800 calories and roughly 60-70g carbs. Delicious!
  • The correct salad from yesterday. This sucker clocks in at 3lbs 13.8oz! Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, wax peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms, celery, fresh cilantro, shredded colby cheese, 9 oz of ham, salt, pepper, a dash of bacon bits, and light vinaigrette dressing.
  • The ham alone was probably 400-450 calories. A salad that size also needed more than the usual amount of light vinaigrette dressing. I probably had three to four servings of dressing. The rest of the salad was all vegetables, with a bit of cheese and bacon bits. I'd say it was every bit of 1000-1200 calories or so. It's a…

  • The salad has lettuce, spring mix, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, jalapenos, wax peppers, bell peppers, mushrooms, shredded cheese, and light vinaigrette dressing. We used our Black & Decker air fryer to cook the steak. It's delish!
