Getting off caffeine effectively goes like this: start drinking black tea instead of coffee, then green tea instead of black. Takes a couple of weeks, but you will avoid the terrible headaches this way.

If your gym has classes, do that first. Instructors will teach you a lot of great exercises and good form. Look for something like a total body conditioning class. OR, even better, if your membership gives you access to the trainer, use it, and the trainer can show you those very important form tips.

I agree. Fruit is good. During the summer, I ate watermelon every day because it was fresh, available, and I just love it, and I lost more weight than at any other time during the year. Even those sugary fruits contain good things. Watermelon, for example, contains things like L-arganine which is awesome for metabolism.

I'm at 150 now (also 5'6"), but started at 192. I cannot wait to hit 135 or so...we'll so how I feel there. I should take some photos now so that I can have an after photo! There was no way anyone was taking a picture of me when I weighed 192! My current profile pic is at about 160.

I think you look great at 130! It's always good to have a goal, but I'm guessing that if you keep toning up, you're going to be happy with your bod without getting down to 120! Looking good!
