It depends on the cost. I would like to lose the advertisements, but I don't see the other features adding a lot to my MFP experience. Here is an interesting MFP thread regarding premium memberships: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10145685/you-asked-you-got-kind-of-mfp-premium

I agree as well. Reading what others have done or are doing helps keep me interested in MFP and it also challenges me to do better. MFP friends and groups truly do help in my opinion.

I also hope your partner gets well soon. Difficult times tend to throw a lot of us off kilter. Hang in there my friend, tomorrow is another day.

Hi Jeff, I agree it can be tough when the junk food is in the house. The temptation is greater when my wife bakes sweets for some function. Just know that one night, however indulgent, doesn't define your journey.

Well for what it is worth I think I boiled it down to the following: our bodies are designed to do a variety of tasks, not just heavy lifting, not just cardio, not just yoga, ect. With that being said, I think it is wise to take a holistic approach and do what you are capable of doing in each of these areas, gradually…

I agree Mick, Golf is good for the soul. How many different course do you get to play during the summer?

Larkireland, welcome to My Fitness Pal. While my business isn't as large as yours I can relate to the daily stress and struggles. Working 10-12 hour days, six days a week made it hard to slow my mind down at night. I also enjoy a glass of wine or three (cabernet sauvignon) in the evening as it helped me disengage from…
