Welcome! Make sure you're eating enough if you're exercising, drink lots of water, and try to love exercising! :) I never liked exercising much either. Now that I've gotten into a routine of it, I'm loving it. I feel great afterward and ready to take anything on. When I notice my body taking on a better shape, I know it's…

Laceylala... Thanks for that advice. I think I'll give that a try and see how it goes. One thing is for sure... I'm not giving up! :) Dragonfly74... Thanks so much for posting that information. it's a good read and I found it easy to understand.

Thanks for posting this information. I've been doing a ton of reading on MFP as well as other sites to understand all these numbers. I started out at 1200 calories a day and no exercise. I lost 2 pounds per week this way but I didn't feel good as I was constantly hungry and getting headaches. So, I bumped up my calories to…

This is in relation to Muscle Milk, but I'm not sure if the same could be said for all Protein Shakes or just ones with the kind of ingredients as Muscle Milk.
-
Thanks for all the feedback. I'm definitely learning some new information here and look forward to more feedback on this. As for the shakes, I'm not looking for a meal replacement. I haven't been very active for awhile but just started recently and so whatever muscle I have and whatever I build I want to take care of…

I have a hard time drinking enough water too. Sometimes having a big water bottle is intimidating and I wonder how I'm going to drink it all. So I have a small 8 ounce cup and I fill that up and drink it all down throughout the day and for some reason it's easier. If I'm out and about, I have my water bottle and just sip…

I joined recently too and have been loving it. There is a lot of information, advice, and encouragement. I love being able to track my calories and exercise. Feel free to add me if you'd like. I love connecting with others for support and encouragement!

Thanks everyone! I went ahead and ordered it with the medium strap. I can't wait to get it!!

It's a challenge but I love a good challenge. I just try to stay focused on my goals. Changing eating habits is not easy but it's worth it and you'll thank yourself in the long run. It also helps to have a support system which you will no doubt find here!

I saw this too and felt horrible for the animals. It's an eye opener for sure but it hasn't kept me from eating meat. I generally don't eat a lot of meat as it is but am careful about the type of meat I buy and where I buy it from. If you have a farmers market in your area, it's a great place to shop for food items. I try…

I also started out on 2% milk and dropped down to 1%. A few weeks ago I dropped down to Skim and it hasn't bothered me a bit. I am curious about the Almond Milk though so I'm going to look for it next time I'm out.

Thanks everyone for clearing that up for me. I'll have to see if I can find that Dr. Oz book too.

Hey Everyone! I did day 4 of the 30 Day Challenge yesterday evening. I felt the burn really kicking in while doing jump lunges! Afterward, I set up a custom workout for an additional 10 minutes doing running, boxing, dancing, and tennis. It was great! Hope everyone here is having a great week! :)

Thanks for posting this. We have it with some meals but I may add it even more now.

I'm planning to get the Polar F7. I was going to get the F6 but read that the battery can be changed on the F7.

I've been using the EA Active and love it. I feel I get a good workout. I haven't had any problems with the leg strap at all. I haven't tried to custom/preset exercises yet but plan to. I also love the Wii Sport Tennis. Getting a HRM is on my list as well as the next disc of EA Active. Some days I feel I burn more calories…

Samoas are my favorite but I'm going to try and resist buying them this year!

I'm doing the 30 Day Challenge on EA Active right now. So far I'm loving it.
