I use it - 1x10 minutes before a workout ... nothing bad as happened to me. No negative side effects while doing my work out. But most people will tell you theres no need to take a thermogenic.
-
I love mine - I use it with my ipod (gym) and iphone (outside). Totally free other then buying the sensor.
-
Happens to me - usually why I hate the elliptical. Try putting your feet in different positions on the foot pads .... all 4 directions. Do you lean forward or stand in a neutral position?
-
As long as you're swimming laps and not floating around yes. Swimming is an amazing exercise ... google Michael Phelps or Dara Torres.
-
My snacks are usually: baby carrots, nature valley, almonds, walnuts, string cheese, celery, apple, plain cheerios, and water. Make sure you eat your veggies!
-
Bump. But I did just alter my ratios and manually upped my calories.

Covers of Oxygen, Muscle RX, Muscle&Fitness:hers.

I learned to do the french braid headband
-
Hairspray? Bobby pins? Thin headband ... there are some that are silcone or w/e and "don't slip"

Agree. Get the HRM, I love my Polar FT4. Way more accurate then the machines at the gym and what MFP quotes you.
-
Try intervals
-
Yup you got this! I want to do one too
-
this made me laugh. I went in and did the auto-one and then followed for a week and decided to manually change it to a happy median for right now, since I was upping my calories but couldn't quite make it. I've had a few people feel I was in starvation mode. So I've been trying to stay up on my calories and high protein in…

Generally speaking - and I'm sure others are going to agree; they're a waste. Look into multivitamins and having a clean diet. I used to drag, work nights in a stressful environment, but I made going to the gym fun and my place to get away. Put on your gym clothes. Tell yourself you're going to go for 15 minutes. If you…

Everyone is different/Everyone has an opinion. You have to experiment and find what works for you. You need to look at your diet and exercise. Borrowed this blog from a friend. http://fitnesswithnatalie.blogspot.com/2011/05/most-dreaded-word-in-weight-loss.html

I like this.

Keep trying. Everyone has a first day. Becoming a "runner" is a slow, mental, fabulous process. You have the right tools, just start putting them to use. Maybe trying a track or flat "path" to run on.
-
Sounds like a good thing to try when the gym isn't busy. I too, hate that god forsaken stair climber. =) Love-hate relationship.
-
Haha oh man how I hate the superman/banana rotating workout! But, in truth they're super! Maybe start adding in some Stiff legged dead lifts with a barbell or smith machine. Hyperextension holding a 5-10lb plate. Or if you're tired of running on a treadmill/elliptical; do the stair climber or cardio circuit.
-
Cardio. Eating clean. If you're lifting maybe try high reps. Cardio. HIIT Cardio.

Yup, Couch 2 5k. Even as an athlete growing up, I hated running. Once I got back into the gym I started with that program. Week by week. If you struggle with a week, repeat it. Running is a mind game, too. Don't let yourself quit.

Nope, laminate floor. I even do 0lbs for the clothes. I stopped using it for that purpose and just weigh myself at the gym. Which that says I weigh 128 so I don't like that scale any better. haha
-
I'd say no because at times mine tells me I weigh 99lbs. Ha, good one wii-fit!
-
My left side is different then my right. More toned and what have you. I'm also right handed. I've actually been having muscle alignment sessions working with the tissue that holds your muscles in place to correct some other things. My left shoulder was higher, which offset my right hip, and so forth.
-
The easiest, most accurate thing to do is purchase a HRM and create your own exercises. I created a 5k, gym workout, and treadmill intervals. My gym workout includes all strength, circuits, and anything else I throw in there.
-
I agree - I kind of loop them in with a regular work out.

Most people will probably recommend things by Jillian Michaels. Check out amazon and read the reviews from other people.
-
I'll do 3mph at a 4.0 incline for 10 minutes, stretch really good, and then protein shake or a RTD protein. I might throw in a banana or apple.
-
I get picked on all the time about being at the gym. One of the reason's I don't "check in" places. But I do have a few friends that share the same enjoyment of working out so we chat back and forth. But most of my friends are lazy. ha So keep posting if it makes you feel good, and you never know, you might peak someones…

I'm 5'4, medium frame (supposedly but I think it's wrong). My goal weight is 120 ... I'm at 128 right now. I would rather have less body fat and weigh more then 120 ... but which ever comes first. While skinny looks good on some people, I'd rather look like Jamie Eason or Juilana Daniell.
