Great work everyone! Don't be so hard on yourselves, everyone is pushing themselves out of their comfort zones either way!! I did not do the whole challenge for yesterday. I did tomorrow's challenge for today on top of my own, and will do all the walking tomorrow. It's Thursday already! Have a great day!

I do yoga about once a week. I love it, but I love other exercises more, so that's why I only get around to doing it once a week. Low impact days are essential in order for your muscles to grow. I will be doing a low impact WEEK when we are done with this challenge to give my body a rest. I have been told that by several…

Hey All, just wanted you to know that I zig zag my calories, so if I am not under calories on a couple days a week, those are my higher calorie days. It evens out with the days I am lower on calories. For me, its not good to go under my caloric goal by a whole lot each day. I've done that before and that's where I…

I've been zig zagging for several weeks and on the days that are low caloric days, I exercise more and don't eat back all the calories, and on the days where I eat more, I exercise less. (Acutally one of my days I eat more is Saturday's so I tend to eat more anyway, but I do more exercising to make up for the weekend…

Unfortunately I do believe some of this, but obviously it cannot be applied to every personal trainer. It is best to do your research in your personal trainers. I had one though a gym and he was giving me nutritional advice through a special program taught by this gym... later I found out that he really didn't know what he…

My thought for today: Some days are more challenging than others and we need to just keep trucking along and do what we can do. Its okay to ask for help! Make today a great one!

Yay! Go Skinny Minis! You are doing a wonderful job!

Yes Kristi you are an awesome leader! Your challenges are tough but very good! I did my strength workout today as well as the challenges except for the walking for today. I'll either finish it later this afternoon or tack in on to tomorrow's workout. School has started so I am busier now. Great work everyone! Have a great…

I'm loving the roundhouse combos, I'm definitely a kickboxer at heart. In another life I would have trained to be a kickboxer! Maybe not to fight, but…

Hey all! I finished all the challenges for the week except the walking for yesterday. I did do my planned workout though. I was under my calorie goal each day and drank all my water. I made my goal of 1600 extra calories burned. I will weigh in tomorrow so I let you know how I did with that. I'm looking forward to this…

My update for the week so far: I've done the challenges and I just finished Day 4. I'm loving the challenges! I've been under my calorie goal each day, and I've drank all my water plus some. Water is never an issue for me, I always have a bottle of water near by. I'm looking forward to the walking tomorrow, because today I…

Great job!

I'm so sorry for what the weather has done in your area. Its difficult to adapt to things out of our control and it sounds like you are so determined to keep chugging along. The weight gain could have something to do with stress, or water retention. If you don't notice your clothes fitting differently, its probably nothing…

Cute dog Kristi! My husband and I cannot wait until we can have a dog! We are living in an apartment and plan on buying a house next summer- then we can have our dog! My NSV over the holiday weekend: I was with my husband's family and several people told me that I looked great and they could tell I was still losing weight.…

Great job ladies! I love the encouragement and motivation. Keep up the good work and make this week a good one!

So excited for week 2! 1. Kristi-I commit to EVERY challenge in week two and will contribute 1500 EXTRA calories burned to meet the team challenge. (I can do more but I want this to be a TEAM effort) Week one went great for me. Ended up doing 5 extra miles, completed all the challenges, stayed under my calorie goal every…

The week went great for me. I enjoyed the challenges, as they were not things I would normally do each day. I walked my 3 miles for the team and I am ready for week 2!

"You be killin it, you be killin it!" Sounds like we're all off to a great start team! Nice job! I posted this as my status, but just wanted to let you all know that heart rate monitors are one of the best indicators of calories burned. This site does a great job with everything, but I've found that its not as accurate…

I used to eat A LOT of fruit and hit a plateau for a while when I was doing this and had no idea why. It was way too much sugar! For example, in a week I would eat a bundle or two of bananas, 2lbs of strawberries, 1 pineapple, 1 cantaloupe, and at least one apple a day, all this to myself. Just fyi, but yeah like people…

Good start to the weekend! Have a great one everyone!

Great job so far ladies! I also did my extra mile yesterday on top of my regular workout. I just finished my situps/crunches. I did 25 of each. I will be walking my other miles tomorrow, along with 75 jumping jacks and my regular workout. Make it a great day!
-
I'm keeping a notebook for this challenge next to the computer and will write everything down in there so I can keep track of our challenges. I'll be doing my normal workout and the extra challenge for today in a few hours. Have a great day ladies!

I know there's a name for this, but I'm not sure that its bulimia. I do know that there's binging eating disorders where people do not purge.
-
Thanks for sharing. I was never diagnosed with an eating disorder, but I do know that I've struggled with binging ever since I was young. I really don't do it anymore and I am now married and I would never allow my husband or anyone else for that matter see me binge. I guess the main thing that caused me to binge was last…

A shake is not a meal. That's my personal opinion. We have to make sure we are getting enough calories, especially while we are exercising.
-
I am trying to get out of the habit of weighing myself daily. I want to be pleasantly surprised each week rather than nervous on the scale daily. As long as we are counting our calories (and exercising) we should trust that it will work and we will see results whether its on the scale or not. Good luck with this! And you…
