Yeah, especially once I start becoming obsessive. I try to do it only once or twice a week (planning wise), but it is still annoying.

I agree, it's unrealistic to cut cake out for the rest of your life. You have to learn how to deal with these types of situations. If you slip it, it's a lesson learned for when you enter the situation next time. Prepping ahead (with that extra workout as suggested) is more realistic to me and I like the suggestion.

One thing that has really helped me is planning my meals. If I know I want a sweet treat, I plan my other meals around the snack so that it still falls within my calorie/fat/etc ranges. I don't but make sure it has people who are at your pace (or higher). I have tried a walking group before and didn't get much of a workout because of the different fitness levels (I wanted to go faster and others couldn't keep up)

I never comment on someone's diary unless I can view it and unless I actually VIEW IT. I can't tell you good job if yours is private or I haven't even looked at it. You may be under your calorie goal and only ate an apple today. That is not rewardable (for lack of a better word) behavior

Yeah...all that sounds great but I am by no means a morning person and even if I tried to get myself up I still wouldn't. I can barely make it to work on time in the mornings! So I get it in at lunch with my coworkers :tongue:
