I know the feeling too well. Maybe 10% of your weight is a good start...and then once you reach that weight another 10% of that. I get pain in my left great toe when walking for long distances, eventually it goes away with a little rest. My diagnosis, for me at least is arthritis inflammation....and over use. Hope this helps.:happy:

Per my dietician, weight loss should average per week about 1% of your weight, so it changes as you lose weight. At 187 you should loose about 1.8 pounds per week, and so forth....hope this helps.:flowerforyou:

My dietician says you can't get too much protein. Carbs will slow the weight down so try to go low on carbs. And fat.....well the word speaks for itself, go low on fat. :flowerforyou:

Protein is okay, my dietician said you can never get too much protein. Make sure you drink more fluids (then the recommended) so you can flush it through. Carbs on the other hand sometimes might slow your weight loss down. Hope this helps.:flowerforyou:
