Hi ladies, my name is Joanna. I had gastric bypass oct 17, 2011 and although I have had great results, I have also learned how to get around some things. I started at 325, now I'm 208,6, reaching for the goal 140. Wearing XL but some of it is snug. Welcome to Here and I hope I can help support everyone. Welcome.

Hello MFP friends, I'm turning 38 (mentally i'm in my 40s) and find the magic of being good to myself off and on. Today I saw an article that stated something like "Im sorry to my body for abusing it." Just those words made an impact on me, for now.

I like that...even if you go over your calorie intake it's not the end of the world...but like you said, plan for it. For example, I'm a food addict....Even after gastric bypass, I am a food addict. I like to eat. Right after surgery, I felt like I was being starved..haha....that's exactly what is going on but mentally I…

If you don't like the dark chocolate, don't eat it....Eat the small piece of chocolate that you enjoy, it will help curb the craving. I also have a sugar thing but I also had gastric bypass and sugar does not agree with me. Jelly beans, 10 at a time is also a good thing to curb the cravings....Good luck, I feel your pain…
