  • To my 4 year old, "Can you please put something else on besides snow boots and underwear?" or "Please do not stick your markers up your nose?" or the ever popular around our house, "Please stop barking and talk like a person."
  • I just went through the same thing. Another MFP friend sent me to this blog: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2012/08/16/get-over-it/ It was very helpful and inspiring. Hope it helps :)
  • That is awesome. I also have Bipolar and know exactly what you are going through. I did exactly what you did and now that is how I push through my down days. Keep it up and you will find it gets easier, at least it has for me.
  • I would never discipline someone's child. If my child was within the same area doing the same thing than I would correct them in hopes the other parent would take notice. Otherwise, if the kid is not harming themselves or others, then whats the harm? Other than bad manners that is.
  • I still have a long way to go but here is my progress so far: Me before at about 305lbs Me at about 275lbs Me at about 240lbs Now at 225lbs
  • When I was 12. We have been together since and it has been going on 21 years now. Our marriage has never been better and I fall more in love with him every day, if that is even possible. He is everything I could ever ask for in a soul mate and then some :)
  • For our local beer it is Full Sail Pale Ale. Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier is my favorite import.
  • Lacto-Ovo vegetarian. I would eat meat if I had to but I get my proteins and vitamins else where so why eat meat if I do not have to.
  • Having a breast lift is one of my rewards for when I lose all of my weight. If it is what will make you happy, go for it. Do not listen to anyone but your self
  • The first time I met my husbands Grandmother her words were, "You would be so pretty if you just lost weight." She would tell me this almost every time I saw her. It hurt a lot. I still think of this when I am working out for fuel to keep me going.
  • I like an athletic type and someone over 6'. He has to have an Adonis Girdle, yummy. I have all of these in my husband :) BUT, the best part of any man is what's between his ears. That is the organ that gets me going.
  • I am still sweating half an hour after my workout.
  • Mine is open and I log every day :)
  • Uptight people who take life to seriously, someone without a sense of humor, and people without manners. I don't care what someone wears or what they look like, respect will take you far.
  • I went on a day long hike and the next day I weighed more. Within the next few days I lost almost 5 lbs. I am pretty sure its just water weight. Give it a few days and weigh yourself again.
  • While I love my man being taller than me, I am 5'7" and he is 6'4", it is all in the attitude of the person. If he was 5' I would still be attracted to him if he makes me feel like I am the only one that matters. Confidence is the key. If the girl can not see you for who you are inside than she sounds pretty shallow. If…
  • For those of you interested, there is an app in iTunes called Zombies, Run! It's a running game that you can use when running outside or on the treadmill. If the zombies are coming it tells you to run faster to outrun them. It looks fun.
  • I have taken Metformin for the last 12 years. Recently I started Spironolactone which has helped with the water weight greatly. I also take two multivitamins and a complex B vitamin because I am a Vegetarian and the Metformin slows down the absorption of B12. I add cinnamon to what I can and have it daily usually in…
  • Egg whites scrambled with vegetarian sausage, green onions, garlic, onion powder and sometimes Mexan shredded three cheese or cheddar, YUMMM
  • Like some of the others here I have seen the Xtian posts around and went looking for an Atheist group and here it is. I have had trouble losing weight starting in my teens and now I am being more proactive about my health and weight. I want to be healthy for my kids and husband because we only have this one life and I want…
  • BMR calculators are not always right. For those with PCOS it is not easy to find out our BMR because some of us who have it do not burn calories the same way those without the syndrome do. MFP actually set my cal allowance to high and I had to set it back to 1200 and now I am losing again.
  • Shaving, tweezing and waxing are they typical for me. I am going to look into lazer this summer. I am done with this hair.
