I do the same thing, the previous scale I had would give me anywhere within a 5-10lb range of my weight. The one I have now was 20 bucks from bed bath and beyond and hasn't failed me yet - in fact it even matches perfectly with with wii fit. I believe it's one of the "thinner" brand scales.

The amount of calories in 5 guys burgers made me really sad. But looking back, they're so greasy and bad for you. Also, pretty much anything from the cheesecake factory or friendlys is going to send you over.

Remember that when you're dieting, the biggest problem most people have is trying to cut all the bad stuff out at once. Do a little at a time, one cookie won't kill you, but if you have a few every day that's different. Everything in moderation, and portion sizes are key. Good luck!!

My boyfriend is supportive, but gives in when I'm having a weak day. He also has horrible eating habits, so it doesn't help when I ask what's for dinner and his only responses are fast foods.

your body might be getting too used to the food your eating. If you can, switch up your diet.

I would put that as basic walking, at a casual pace (probably about 2.5 mph, maybe less)

I use the biggest loser yoga, and it's automatically helped me relax and my breathing has gotten way better (I have a weird nose.) I also just signed up for a class at school, so I'm excited to see how that turns out. (:

The Wii fit was great for about 3 weeks, and then I lost interest. I would definitely look into EA Active, since it's getting rave reviews on this post!

My weight at the doctor's is about 4lbs different than my weight at home. Take into consideration whether they're digital or manual scales, and then if you've eaten anything that day and what you're wearing (if anything) when you get on the scale. Daily fluctuation is normal.

Once you get used to eating new and different things to stay under your calories, the intake of sodium, carbs and fat changes too. For a while though, I was just worried about my calories.
