I don't know, what?

Cardio will burn more fat.

Yes you can eat a burger! That's actually what you're supposed to do with a burger. ;)

I think they let you read a certain amount before they try to charge you. Here's an interesting article I just found about that consensus number and the debate about it. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-to-determine-the-scientific-consensus-on-global-warming/

Not every one. The vast majority.
-
Wsj won't let me read without paying. It was bought ny Rupert Murdoch a few years ago, though.

True

Then you are going against the scientific community, and with the pseudo-scientists and industry lobbyists.

Dude, look it up. I'm not even having this debate, it is settled science. There is no real debate within the scientific community.
-
I saw that, I was lmao!! That look he gave when he tossed the snowball to the chairman, like oh snap, lol

All those stupid scientists trying to act like they understand science... (97% agree on global warming. It's a thing.)

I like the all bran buds, I mix it with Greek yogurt, it gives it a nice crunch. It's like 50% of daily fiber.

David Duke, seriously? Can we not send people to the website of a former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

I took her to mean everyone should limit them in general, not more than they already were.

You aren't starving yourself. Your doctor said "if you can handle it". You are losing 1% of your body weight per week, which is great at your weight. Being 400 lbs is more dangerous than losing quickly at first. Keep it up if you can handle it. Good job and good luck!

Those people are trippin. 125 to 160 is a healthy range for that height according to bmi charts. Just speaking from experience, 125 is quite lean. Below that is gaunt. I know everyone is different, that's why there's such a range. In any case, you don't look large at 125. Most people set it to 2 lbs a week at first, and…

I think you're a little atypical losing on 2200 at 157. I'm 5'8 160 and my maintenance is around 2000. 1500 and I lose a lb a week (that doesn't include exersize though, which op's probably doesn't). OP, yeah you're probably going to want to set it to lose 1 lb per week. I also think 20 lbs lost would be plenty. 40 would…

Just figure out your calorie allotment and get started, where you want to cut back will become clear to you after you do it for a little while. For me, I thought my daily Starbucks was non negotiable, but it pretty quickly didn't make the cut when I had to trade it for food and go hungry. I now have it occasionally and not…

There are naturally occurring trans fats in meat and dairy, they're fine. But when people refer to trans fats they're generally talking about the artificial ones (hydrogenated oils) that are in packaged pastries and fast foods, etc...

Dave's Killer Bread Good Seed. So friggin good. It's 140 cals but filling. I've been having open face with mayo Dijon ham and cheddar in the toaster oven every day.

I think she meant she can't eat that little. It's a glitch on the mobile app. So if someone says they want to lose 2 lbs a week, it's giving them that 1000 cal deficit even if they don't have the leeway to do that, rather then stopping at 1200. It's awful and needs to be fixed asap, there's probably thousands of people…

Trans fats are bad.

I've been using the Best Foods with olive oil and I like it fine. Best Foods and Hellman's are the same thing btw, it just depends where you're located (in the U.S.).

I looked at that thread a bit and I too was shocked by how may people don't log a lot of things. I mean why bother? But then I started thinking well if they're not doing it, why should I? And now I'm not losing weight anymore.
-
Totally uncomfortable, but I think I'll do that first one tomorrow. Lol
-
OP, thanks for asking this, I had the same question. The above is the answer I'm going with...

Totally agree! On habit in general, I read somewhere a long time ago "it takes 30 days to make or break a habit". Lol...for some reason that always stuck with me, so I also agree with "fake it until you make it". It usually does take about that long before something is no longer something I make myself do (or not do), but…

Alright, thank you. Either way, she lost actual weight, and gained muscle at the same time, which sounds good to me!

If she lost 9 lbs, albeit slowly, wouldn't that be a cut?
