Asics with blue super feet inserts worked best for me. I had a pair of crocs around the house that I had never worn that I started putting on the second I got out of bed, too. But stretching, rolling and kneading my calf made the biggest difference. People suggested it was probably coming from there, but I didn't think it…

For physical fitness. And I love it and I like to be able to eat.

I have traveled alone in foreign countries, etc.., and I won't run in secluded/wooded parks in urban areas at all. It sucks, but I've heard enough stories to be uncomfortable/nervous the whole time, even if I did think it was safe. If your local running people warned you about it, I wouldn't do it.

Something like this? Now your face will really sweat though. And people will look at you funny but it won't matter because you'll be incognito. http://www.amazon.com/Sunlight-Protection-Reflective-Stiviano-BLUE-RED-PURPLE-ORANGE-PINK/dp/B00K7K35YG

Has research determined that those who lose faster have a lower success rate? I'd be interested in seeing it.

What about arguing about the same thing every day over and over on an Internet forum? Is that healthy, or better done in moderation? ;)
-
No, but apparently they have reason to believe this is potentially harmful enough to do so in this case. Isn't that what they're there for? Afaik they're not talking about banning other things, but this has been coming. Other countries are taking various steps as well.

How is that government overreach? If it's not safe to eat, that's the fda doing its job.

That's 478 calories

Ah ok, I wasn't aware, good to know.

Well it's 1am here, but I haven't been active at all since before the golden state game/Game of Thrones. :)

I don't know what you mean about the lower deficit, it gives you the deficit you enter (eg 1 lb per week is -500). At the end of day, the calorie allotment is the same no matter what setting you choose, Fitbit overrides it. I changed mine to sedentary because it projects out that whatever level you chose will hold constant…

Hmm, I don't have the heartrate monitor, idk. Hopefully you have some time until midnight (it's 6 out here), that does sound low.

Do you have mfp set to lightly active? How many steps have you taken? It won't really credit the yoga or seeding, just steps.
-
I didn't exercise yesterday. I have my Mfp set to sedentary, I took about 13000 steps and got about 500 cals on the Fitbit adjustment. But those steps are only "extra" because I have it set at sedentary, which I'm not (most days :)). I've only had it a couple months, I'm still playing with the settings, but it's seems to…

I ran 5 miles this morning, I burned about 400 cals, I'm proud of myself (just for doing it, not the calories). Of course I've burned more calories throughout the day, from general activities (not that much though). I don't think you're burning 1500+ in exercise per day.

^This is what I do. I also do a lot of static stretching separately, just in the living room when we're watching tv and stuff, I love it.

I'll be able to eat more food

I have this issue too, I like to keep it fairly slow so that I can go further, but my form starts to break down a little when I go slower. What's been helping is focusing on keeping my cadence the same no matter how fast or slow I go, I used a metronome a couple of times to make sure I did. The less time my foot spends on…

Great post, thanks!

This bread is soo good. I'm obsessed with the Good Seed right now, I love the texture. It's high calorie, I usually just use one piece for an open faced sandwich in the toaster oven. It's filling and delicious.

Yes, beans and rice are where it's at if you're a vegan. Eta- no don't almost purely eat that, it would be a good staple for protein for you though.

YMCA has sliding scale fees for low income. They also often will let people work for trade.

Here's an article by Bret Contreras on this subject that you might find helpful: http://bretcontreras.com/how-to-attain-a-slender-look-like-jessica-alba-zoe-saldana/ He has a program (book) called Strong Curves, he has a program without much upper body work for women with your goals. He has a body weight only version in…

I've been thinking about cream cheese, bleu cheese, all the the meals cheese is in, how I would have to ask for modifications as a guest, etc..., so I'm changing my answer to cheese. I really resent having to choose, though.

This question is making me a little crazy, like I really have to decide. Chocolate...no wait!...cheese!! Seriously, chocolate...I've loved it for as long as I can remember.

There has been more recent research about absorption (since the article you posted), and debate about possibly changing the system. http://www.livescience.com/26799-calorie-counts-inaccurate.html

According to that link, our fat consumption is 65.5 g per, which is within the guidelines for a 2000 cal diet. We're eating a lot more than 2000 cals, but the excess is not from fat.
