  • Hi - I agree with most of the people on here - you don't wear white to a wedding - sorry. BEAUTIFUL dress but not to an occasion like that. Even if you asked the bride and she was ok with it; as you can see from the comments here people feel quite strongly on this topic and the tradition of white being reserved for the…
  • What she said! What a great position to be in. I would say worry less about the scales and instread take measurements around your waist, hips, bust, thigh and arm then stick with it. After a month or so of eating clean and working out you will start to see improvements in your body and your muscle definition. Good luck!!
  • I PERSONALLY would think that 57 lbs in that space of time is quite a lot as you will find that the loss speed slows down dramatically the smaller you get. I just know if it were me and I felt like I wasn't reaching the goals I set myself then I would feel like a failure; whereas each lb should actually be a success.…
  • hi Fellow european and blogger here.......feel free to add (or follow!) me  Vx
  • Hi I am so sorry that you seem to feel that way but I don't think weight is a factor here as this seems emotional rather than a physical illness therefore as getting thinner / fatter will not make you feel better. As the other posters have mentioned; get out and about and speak to someone like a doctor that should be able…
  • Sounds awesome!! I'm in
  • Chester - anyone please feel free to add me  Vx
  • Hi - from Chester here (though originally Cornwall, followed by Northampton). Anyone feel free to add me  Vx

  • Unless it's filled with sugar and additives then nothing as far as I am aware....there are some really good ones on the market in my opinion (though some crappy ones too - see aforemetioned comment regarding sugar and additivies). However, I am not a nutritionist therefore I can only go on my own opinion and impact on…
  • Yep - not only did I fall off the wagon, I fell off, killed said wagon, dragged it into the woods and ate it. Along with all of the yummy festive food it contained. However, I'm a firm believer that it's not what you do it's how you react to it. It's done and what I do now is what counts which means putting my running…
  • Hi I'm Chester, though originally Liskeard (Cornwall). Anyone feel free to add me
  • Feel free to add me - and anyone else looking to expand their friend network. I'm a little older than you "ahem - 30 - eek!!" but totally still believe that I'm 23....tops :) Good luck!
  • I'm in - shall we post on this site or are you going to be creating a group??
  • Completely agree with this post. Weight (and scales) can be fickle and mis-representative of all your hard work as it sounds like you're getting more toned therefore you could be loosing inches rather than lbs. Therefore I would recommend measuring all your key areas (waist, hips, bust, thighs, arms) and to track that as…
  • Hi - am from the UK and a geek; anyone feel free to add me. 2013 is going to be a good year!!
  • No - sugar is sugar, if you are under calories then it should not impact your weight loss. But if you "spend" wisely on fruit rather than cakes then the nutrician benefits mean that your health should not suffer from going over (on sugars), if it all goes on cakes then you may be under on calories but won't have enough…
  • I've thought a few times about deleting my account but I find it just a great, cheap way of keeping in contact with friends who are now all over the world. I use it more to keep in touch with people I do not want to loose contact with rather than to reconnect. My phone died a month or so ago and since then have had no…
  • Hello!! Chester and 30 for anyone who wants to expand their UK friend list and add me
  • Welcome!! The people here are fab  Feel free to add me if you want to start a friend network to help keep you on track.
  • Hi - you will not loose (or not loose as much) if you are not watching what you eat but getting active and exercising is never a bad thing; just do not be disheartened if the numbers on the scales do not change too much but the endorphins will do you well. Perhaps combine a more active lifestyle with small diet changes…
  • I'm up for that....add me!! I think 15 may be a bit to ambitious for me seeing as I have a 1 week holiday in that but I will pledge for 10lbs
  • welcome!! feel free to add me :) Vx
  • It's your body but PLEASE really think about this. I tore my knee playing rugby 8 years ago and because I didn't rest it properly I have SERIOUS DAMAGE that will never be repaired now. I have to wear knee supports most days and doing something like shopping for a few hours leaves me on crutches for days. As for exercises…
  • Mmm....now I feel like a coffee fiend!!! I usually get through 8 or more in a day (approx 1 every 1.5 / 2 hours at work).....eek!! Though less at weekends when I'm not in work. BUT I have counterbalanced this by weining myself onto decaf coffee or at least a mix of half and half (yep - they will do that for you) as I was…
