  • Results are in: I could've done better, but I almost threw up... So thats good LOL! And on the low plank obliques I was doing them wrong, so I divided half of the ones I did wrong (before correcting them). switch kicks-69 power jacks-32 power knee-92 power jumps-40 globe jumps-10 suicide jumps-7 push-up jacks-18 low plank…
  • It looks like you are doing something right!!! Keep up the work and keep it varied!
  • Way to go! I had a similar experience.. and then I hit my plateu. So I'm (healthy-mindedly) trying to work through it. Keep it up though!
  • I just took before pics and measurements... for added motivation. I'll post before and after's as I start to see some results! I can't wait till tomorrow after class (when I'm starting).
  • I loved Body Pump the first few times. It gets repetative after twp weeks of classes. But I really did enjoy the reps we did and the encouragment of everybody lifting around me! I only started with 2.5 lb weights as my light sets, and 5 as my heavy but now 10 is my heavy so it works.

  • I didn't drink at all on Cino de Mayo! Personal accomplishment. Well that and I went running yesterday instead and got a mile time of 9:30. I know its not great but I just started running because I used to dislike it alot, but it felt great to have such a low time for myself. I just hope it gets better next week and then I…
  • you look like you have more defined abs than I do in your picture. Way to go the bikini looks great!
  • I'm starting insanity this weekend or next monday toooo! I'm so excited, but one of my friends is loaning me the dvd's and she lost one of them so I hope it still works all right! If anything I'm just going to have to do lower/buns region myself. Let me know how you process is going with it!
  • O I was in the same boat earlier! I just got back from the grocery store so I decided instead of a burger I'm going to make lean ground beef salad with low fat cheese, salsa, black beans, and a dallop of low fat sour cream... at least it throws out the carbs and adds in lots of veggies!
  • I'm happy with the past few days. I've got my abs workout in every day at least 10 min, but I'm working for more time! But I haven't started running yet, so that's a work in progress...
  • Awake early this morning and I got my abs circuit in for today :) Now to work on that mile after class!
  • Last week I worked out every day except rest day and I found it hard to eat back all my calories too. I eat so much veggies and whole grains that I am pretty much always full. But I was stuck at the same weight all week. Well this week I am going to eat more in the morning and switch my workout circuits up a bit to…
  • Hi I am new to this forum, and I'm not well acquainted with making and keeping goals. So I am going to share my May goal with you guys so that I can't pretend like I have no one to dissappoint lol! So I have always hated running and abdominal work. Most of my fat is carried in my abs (which is really unhealthy), so this…
  • I'm in the same predicament. I try to take in my 'net' calories but it seems like too much when I workout all week. Plus, I'm trying to lose a bit of weight and I haven't gone anywhere since last week...
  • I'm trying to tone muscle, so I'm not sure if would want to do this, but I have a protein shake. Only one scoop, has 100 calories, and 18g of protein. I do not really feel hungry before lunch rolls around
  • I'm in the same predicament, but I even started consuming more calories, and I'm still stuck. Switching up my weight training, still increasing weights, but I'm not seeing anymore weight come off :(

  • Way to go I really liked your mini goals!!
  • My fantasy is that someone (that I haven't told I'm working out) will say "wow, you look so strong!", I'm not going for skinny, I want to look toned, strong, and flat bellied :)
  • Way to go. I am just now trying to do my first 5k (and hoping I don't have to stop at least a jog pace!). Every milestone counts!!!

  • It sounds simple but I like whole wheat rotini (only one 2 oz serving), with black beans and diced tomatoes with chili powder. It's like low fat high protein chili, I am just trying to cut out a lot of meat, but you could add some lean ground beef.
  • I agree, most of the time you won't even be able to get through a workout correctly if you don't put something in your body before you get up and go. I made that mistake and almost passed out in the gym. No matter how many calories I tried to make up later in the day.. it was still bad news
  • I like the first part of the challenge, but I have already cut out late night snacking because I eat so many vegetables with dinner I can't bear the thought of more food, lol! But the water goal is a goooood one! The under calories goal is good, but we all have to make sure we are hitting our NET calories. I already…
  • Definitely normal. And I welcome it! It just means I can take in some more water and keep my body functions movin along!
  • I literally eat vegetables with everything I cook now. I used to have cravings so bad at night I would fall asleep with chips by my bed and an empty cheese dip bowl. I eat when I'm hungry, but I am eating so many vegetables (that I love and are prepared even with a little butter). Since cooking veggies into everything or…
  • I have struggled with self control for a while. What really helped me was tracking my calories everyday. I started to see the days where I needed to eat more of the good stuff (vegetables, proteins, fruit). Now I add a heaping amount of vegetables to everything I cook. They really fill me up and I am not hungry throughout…
