I was diagnosed as pre diabetic in August. I've just got my numbers back into the normal range, but I'm still trying to get them a little lower. Hi all! I'm starting over too. I've ran 7 half marathons, a full marathon, and several 5ks but I injured my hip. I took 2 years off running & gained about 50lbs during that time off. I think it's about time to get back to into it. :smile:

I just finished my second 1/2 marathon this morning, and have been fighting with shin splits the last 3 weeks of my training. Here's what worked for me...
