I've heard it, but I cannot speak to it's efficacy. However, if you intend to add vinegar to your diet, make sure you dilute it with water as the acidity is not good for your teeth or esophagus.

***DISCLAIMER*** I did not read the previous posts, so this may be misplaced. I worked out there for a time, but I could not deal with being told to be quiet. I was told I was too loud 3x in the same workout. I am not a body-builder nor was I at the time. I was lifting weight that was heavy, but I was not maxing out. I did…

Pretty obvious which way you are leaning here with the wording of the questions. Let me ask you this, how much more money is the first scenario? Does it significantly change your lifestyle for the better?

There are lots of different flavors of sorbet that are dairy free and delicious. Hagan Daaz makes a bunch of them. Good luck to you!

I think it is important to note that while western medicine dictates that total cholesterol should be under 200 and focuses heavily on the ratio of good and bad cholesterol, the Framingham Heart Study found that no one (in their study) with total cholesterol under 160 developed heart disease whatsoever. I personally shoot…

Wow. This is the best example of "it's someone else's fault" logic I have ever seen. What if there is something wrong with the person's head and not their body? Like being so delusional about weight and weight-loss that you actually believe it is more difficult than calories in versus calories out.

Again, thank you all! I really appreciate the support. Anyone who wishes to add me as a friend, please send me a msg along with your request and include what type of vegetarian diet you are on or interested in. Thanks again!

from a weight loss standpoint you are looking for a caloric deficit. Almond has less calories than soy milk, so it is probably a little superior in that regard. I also like Almond milk better so I am biased.

Thank you all. Even though I knew 100lbs weight loss would get a big response, the support is tremendous. Some of you have asked how I've done it and I'd like to point out that my profile page, and my diary are wide open. If any of you are interested in a meat-less or less meat existence I would encourage you to…

I definitely do not use any of the replacements for oil as they are mostly fat based anyway. 89% of the calories in Pam are from fat. It's oil, just under a different name. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/fats-and-oils/9751/2

Orange City here. You ride the the seminole wekiva trail? I love that trail.

You inspire me my friend. Thank you.

I was talking to my GF about that. I think 299 looks way better on the way down than on the way up. At least in my case. Thanks!

Hey congratulations to you! Your weight-loss is incredible.
-
Thank you! And congrats to you on your weight-loss! I don't know if I can really get down to 200lbs or not, but that is the goal. If I'm skinny at 230 or 220, I'll switch it.

That's really awesome! I read this at first thinking it was a joke! Way to take care of your dog, that little bit of weight will go a long way to assuring her a healthy long life. Good for both of you!

^ Best comment so far. Bravo. LOL!

Thank you! Should have pointed out that I'm about 6'1" or a 185 cm for our metric friends.

Thank you! Eggs and dairy were actually pretty easy. Even giving up meat was easier than I expected. Giving up oil is a challenge everyday. It is in almost everything and cooking without it can be challenging. I've had success finding product replacements for everything from bread to crackers without oil and I've learned…

Dr Esselstyn says don't juice! I say if you like it and it's the only way to get those greens in, go for it! I'd log the calories the same as the raw stuff, and just don't add any fiber. Juicing ruins the fiber.

I saw the movie last year in June. I was dumbfounded. I read Dr. Esselstyn's book and then Dr. Campbell's. I was sold on the idea that this could work so I looked into a little further and did research on what the heck I was going to be eating! I started Dr. E's version of the diet and have been really strict since Nov…

I don't worry about it at all. I have not given all fat, just the processed versions. If I want olive oil, I eat olives. I'm working closely with my doctor and getting my bloodwork done every two months, and so far nothing but positive results. If something comes up, I'll modify my diet, but I have been doing Dr.…
