  • i'm quite lucky at the moment as i work nights in an empty warehouse ..all that time and space to run around in or skip now.. lol i will be out shopping on my day off for a heavier rope though .. think the sisters kids will end up with this one :)

  • i prefer them ground up ..you get more of the nutty flavour .. i grind mine in pestle n mortar and usually mix them all up at once..linseed/pumpkin/poppy/sesame seeds .. GREAT topping for chicken breasts :)
  • I've noticed my belly button isn't in the middle any more..hoping that when i eventually lose the extra weight I'm carrying it will go back central .. its definitely bigger on one side than the other ..like many other things on our bodies.. lol
  • i sooooo badly wanted to wear an old pair of my favourite trousers once that i wore them anyway.. had to be poured into them .. pulled belt in way too far as to hold them up as i couldn't fasten them to the top ..and wore a long shirt over the top ..looked great but not so easy to sit or bend down in .. lol i think i stood…

  • yes, the price is a tad on the steep side i guess, but it doubles as a watch etc etc too .. lol .. i will check out the ones mentioned too ..thanks for the heads up. i might as well buy myself a xmas present that i will get use out of :glasses:
  • yes the gear 2 works independently and with the phone to count steps so i believe..also heart rate etc .. Also i fancy the gear 2 as it has a built in mp3 player that works with bluetooth headset ..so no wires and no phone to carry around :) .. I'm not going to buy right away as I'm sure theres a new one on the horizon and…
  • i've started throwing in some cooked quinoa and ground linseed/ground pumpkin seed and poppy seeds ..gives the salad a whole new crunch to it :drinker:

  • i make a huge batch of brown rice at beginning of the week and store in the fridge. stir fried chicken or turkey and veggies is mainly what i eat with it .. stir fry the veggies in olive oil with some garlic and ginger .. i use courgettes / mushrooms / asparagus / broccoli / cauliflower mainly ..not always together .. lol…

  • thanks for that .. i am maintaining the calorie counts so far i think .. only found the site tonight so have to do the whole weighing of produce I'm actually eating etc for sure. but by not eating the whole processed stuff mentioned i feel much better ..fresh produce all the way for the last month. I didn't eat much pasta…
  • nice topic.. mine was cups of tea ..managed to kick that and now drink green teas instead .. but the main wallow had to be bread ..or anything bread related .. i have also managed to kick that habit but I'm off to New York next month and i know i will have to cave in eat some junk food while I'm there ..:blushing:
