Hi there, count me in! I did the same last week, jumped on the scales and had put on weight once again. Last year I lost almost 20kgs, I have put all that back on plus extra. Last week (Wednesday) was the final straw, so I have started logging again, been exercising, and starting to feel a little better already. Happy to…

Have you thought or looked into the Paleo way of eating, very healthy I find and satisfying too?

I purchased and only wear shoe's that have a proper arch support, if the shoe is not well supported in the arch with a cushioned sole then I won't buy/wear it. The pain comes back almost straight away, same as bare feet on a hard floor for any great length of time if my arch is not supported. I just wear supporting…

I'm getting back into it too, went to a running coach last week to check on technique, try to avoid the terrible shin splints that get me down

I was thinking more protein too (Kathy 379)

Emmie112 you are going great guns, well done, you're awesome. How are you feeling??? Do you feel like you have gained strength and lost cms???

Have been away, hubby is home, blah, blah excuses, excuses. I feel like I need to do a few more days of level 1 before I go back up to level 2 (it was hard)
-
No 'shredding' today as my knees and shins are sore (need a rest from the jumping), but I did do a session with PT today.

Level 2, Day 1 - I agree with you emmie112, my shoulders ouch. - I am glad the push ups of level 1 are done with, I hate push ups. I know they are so effective, but soo difficult.

Butter is the 'healthier' of the two, however, only a small amount is OK. If you are anything like me, I used to like it spread thick on fresh bread, that being said - I don't eat butter anymore.

My husband and I are working together to get fit and loose weight, working together with your partner is such a bonus. Don't forget to start 'moving' too, whether it is a walk around the block or a run around the park, it all helps to shift weight on the scales, it can also be a great time spent with partner and kids too.

I eat healthy however I include these supplements for an extra boost I suppose, magnesium, zinc, lysine and B1

Great story, you looked so sad in your before photos, and sooo happy and healthy now. Sorry to hear about unsupportive friends, you deserve the best. Congratulations on all your successes and of course your little bubby, I wish you good health and happiness.

Hello! My 'story' is.... I am a stay at home mum, we have 5 daughters aged 14 down to 3 years. My wonderful husband works away 2 weeks at a time, but then he is home for 2 weeks. I am 44 years old, and on a weight loss journey. I started changing my lifestyle in March, eating clean and exercising and have lost a total of…

-
Completed days 9 and 10 today, so onto Level 2 tomorrow yeah!!!!!!!
-
Just start with one day at a time, one step at a time. Make small goals and build on them, you just have to START!!! Goodluck

Hello people! I have missed some DAYS as I was unwell, but making up for it now. I have just completed Day 7 and 8, definitely getting much easier, may do another round this evening, see how I feel, as I still have a few days to make up.

As mentioned above, everyone is different. You have found what works for you, then it IS THE RIGHT THING regardless of what the supposed gym experts have said. You said it yourself, you have energy, sleep well, feel full, working out hard and loosing inches - Continue the way YOU have been doing it, and you are using a…

Thank you so much for your replies and advice, and meanderingmammal your post too. As many of you have said, 'pushing it' now is not helping at all. I stretch before and after, I wear compression socks after a run, I ice my shins, strength training at gym etc. I have been fitted by 'Athletes Foot' for my shoes, but as…

I used to use polar, and replaced the strap etc, still didn't work properly. Have moved on to Garmin, their chest strap is a lot more comfortable, and simple to clean. I would never use another type of fitness device that is not Garmin, brilliant quality etc.

You are an absolute inspiration, thankyou for posting. You must feel so proud of yourself, you look amazing, congratulations.
-
You were beautiful before, and now stunning - the lost weight has taken years off you, congratulations (*)

You mentioned that you like to swim too, so be sure to get a 'waterproof' hrm. I have tried both Polar and Garmin (x2), finding Garmin way ahead in quality and accuracy. I use a Garmin F15, it is an activity tracker (steps), it has GPS for my runs, it has HRM for calories burned plus I bought a 'footpod' to track distance…

I have lost almost 20kgs, and have found that my FOOT is now a full size smaller. I went shopping yesterday, so much fun!!!
-
Coming down with flu, however I still did do PT session today with trainer. Gonna give JM a miss today and see how I sleep tonight and feel tomorrow.
-
HRM will always be closer to the REAL burn, than what the machine says.

I am afraid that I am not fussy at all, and I like almost everything, except BRUSSEL SPROUTS and I am glad I don't like them, little green brain looking things that are bitter, just wrong, entirely wrong - yuck.
