Most of the time. It helps me stay on calorie and nutrient track. If I plan ahead, I can avoid impulsive snacking.

I'm a 52 yr old female 5' 1", 114 lbs. If I go over 1200 calories I gain weight.

It may seem obsessive to others who are careless about what they put in their body or who stay thin without effort, but for me logging every bite and documenting exercise is the only way my weight is under control. So no matter what you call it, I choose to be in control of my body! :tongue:

Put on my fave Levis that have been too small for over 2 years. Not only do they fit, I had to wear a belt! :smile:

Of course! My generation started dieting before puberty. Our role model was Twiggy. She's a tall, thin, beautiful model, in case you're too young to know. I'm 5 feet tall so can never reach the ideal. :ohwell:

My goal is 4 pounds for this month. Since I only have 5 left to lose (lost 12 so far) progress has slowed to less than half pound per week. It would be nice to have a 2 or 3 pound safety net for the holidays! :wink:

I'm 52 and know the ropes, please take my word for it: MEASURE AND WEIGH! Don't trust your eyes. Also, give up the packaged bars and swap it for fresh fruit. This will change everything. You can do it! You can get a scale pretty cheap but I use measuring cups and spoons the most. :smile:

Get rid of the condiments. You'd be amazed at the calories you'll save! :wink: If you must use them make sure and measure. After while you'll find they're just not worth it.

Just joined the group! Thanks for creating it. Just have about 6 pounds to go so weight loss has slowed way down, less than half pound per week. Perfect timing! :laugh:

I'm 5’1" and only dare to wear leggings with a long shirt even at ideal weight. My daughter is tall and thin and can pull them off with any top. :smile:

Very close...5’ 1", 113.4 pounds now, got up to 127. I am 52 but really don't feel that old.:happy: :laugh:

Buffets are a bad idea. If you must go, make a salad of skinless chicken and veggies, heavy on the veggies.
