Hilarious!!!

I gave up sweets all together for a while and ate fruits I like (apples, bananas, grapes, etc) to satify my craving for sugar until I got it under control. Now I eat those things but I use portion control and factor them into my calorie count.

I keep a couple of granola bars in the drawer but the best advice I can give is to eat a good breakfast and plan a healthy lunch. If you focus on eating snacks to get you through the day then ultimately that's just what you'll do. I keep the snacks for days I'm running late and don't get breakfast or working through lunch…

I do this and it works great!

I used to collect T-shirts but losing weight caused me to get rid of them so my only other hobby is time pieces...I collect watches and clocks. I have a grandfather clock and a couple of mantle clocks and whenever I have company and they chime I'm often asked how can you sleep at night??? But honestly I don't even notice…

Rock bottom was 60 pounds heavier, borderline diabetic, fat on my liver, high blood pressure, and the threat of having to take choloesterol medication for the rest of my life. At that point I decided it was time to get it in gear.

When I began losing weight one day I was walking down the street and a couple girls drove by honking the horn and whistling at me, I got the biggest grin and decided that it was an affirmation that I had improved. Afterward whenever I thought about it I simply smiled:)
