SORRY I forgot to mention Empty Cals are such things as chips, soda, sweets etc.....stuff that doesnt have any real nutrition value :) In my post when I mentioned eating just a yogurt and salad I was referring to not giving our bodies enough nutrition :)

When you hit a plateau it means your body is used to what activity you are doing, change it up with more intensity! Make sure you keep eating clean and healthy as well! Push more intensely and go further!!

Avocados are an amazing source of healthy fats but YES you can OD on them!Too much of a good thing can be bad.LOL You have to be careful with all fat intake because of its calorie content. You need to consume more Monounsaturated fats than polyunsaturated fats because they are healthy for your heart. My personal opinion on this drug is....SCARY.....I believe when you use drugs like this you are hurting yourself in the long run.Doctors may prescribe it but that doesn't mean it is healthy for your body.I havnt seen results from people that I have seen on it and one that I did know that did lose weight, gained all the…

If you cant change your schedule as far as going to bed and getting up then you are going to have to get a nap......napping doesnt replace your REM sleep though!! The REM sleep is what counts....8 hours :) Good luck to you :)
-
One pound a week is exceptional!!! I would not get discouraged about that!! You have got to get 8 hrs a night!! Its vital to keep your body going....I would shoot for getting into bed at 8 or bumping up your am workout....Sleep is one of the biggest factors in keeping your body going.
-
WOW!!!!! Great results so far!!! Keep up the good work,no turning back! P90X is an amazing program.
-
YES!!! That is called accidental excercise!! Count any activity into your workouts :) Remember though if you do this activity everyday it becomes the "routine" part of your excercise....meaning your body is used to it and it isnt extra...make sense??lol
-
LOL I love that definition......
-
You should definitely TRY to eat every 3 to 4 hours to keep your metabolism stable.....otherwise your body could potentially go into starvation mode and then you will not burn fat off your bones
-
You can do this!! I am a newbie as well and love MFP so far!! Its really keeping me accountable and on track! Your gonna love it! Good luck with your journey :) Its You vs You
-
Its you VS You...... you need to motivate yourself with your passions....what do you want to accomplish? How do you want to feel? Do you want to be happy and healthy? The answers will make you motivated and drive you....once you get back to working out you will FEEL the good....dont let a relationship get you in a comfy…

I was dealing with what my chiro thought was a pulled hamstring (it was really a spine issue) and at first they tried the the kinesio tape and my leg became so irritated where they had placed it I had to get rid of it.....for me it just didnt help. It sounds as though you need to add a toning/weight lifting program into your weight loss.....it will tone up and trim the fat that wants to stick to ya.
