I'm back again!

You lost 10 pounds?! You are doing amazing! Just keep going!
-
Hey Sandy! What kind of training have you done? Hip replacement surgery does not sound like fun. Hopefully, it will bring good things, though.

Hey Martin, I have to limit my alcohol, too. I gain weight every time that I drink. Of course, it doesn't help that I have to finish a bottle of wine once I open it. 550 calories later.... Sounds like you have a good plan. I wish it would stop raining here, too! I want to get outside and run.

Hey Lorrain, 12 5Ks sounds like fun. 1 each month? I also like your idea about tieing the fridge closed with the jeans. Good luck!
-
Well, @RunRachelleRun, there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing intervals. Just keep up the good work!
-
Thanks @RunRachelleRun Have you tried Couch to 5 k? Worked wonders for me and the best part is that you can start at your current fitness level. I skipped the first couple of weeks. I have had a few plateaus myself. I'm glad that you are back at it, though. Never give up!

So here we are. Only a few hours away from a new year. I'm excited and I have some goals for next year. I want to be able to do 5 pull ups (right now I can not do even 1) and I want to run a half marathon before 2017. I am also hoping to find a new job. What about you guys/girls? Does anyone else want to share their goals…

I love my Ozarka Trail lunch box. Lots of shapes and sizes. I use it every day. Picked it up for $10 around the camping department at Walmart. Also, I use the Rubbermade Easy Find Lids. I love them. They never spill, they store easy, and they are not super expensive. I also feel like Walmart has them for the best price. I…

I ran 7 miles today - a new record. Never would have imagined me doing that last year!

Nice!
-
I look at pictures and I feel good about them!
-
I'm a little jealous, but happy for you!
-
Nothing is impossible! Keep at it girl.
-
That is awesome. Congrats!
-
Man, there were some big losses! Congratulations everyone. 140 pounds pounded and punched and burned to the ground. Okay, now I am just being silly. But I think we all did amazing. I'm interested to see the results next week, though. Thanksgiving could change EVERYTHING.

Sorry that you are having care problems. They suck. But it sounds like you are burning a few extra calories :p

So, I just logged the last 3 days. I'm going to try to be better about logging daily (except this weekend since I will be traveling). However, my new pedometer it NOT making it easy on me. I bought a cheapie pedometer just for this competition and it keeps resetting on me. Unfortunately, there is not a good place to put it…

That is a victory! All of those things sound like a ton of fun!
-
Woo Hoo!
-
I'm so happy for you. Congrats on your success!

Try these: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=modified+jumping+jacks&ei=UTF-8&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001 Correct me if I am wrong, @night_watcher, but I think you should keep doing what you are doing. The idea is to be healthy. The side challenges are made to be fun, keep everyone motivated, keep the competition…

Hey there, I'm in!
-
I did indulge last week. I had a whole bottle of wine. I almost caved last night, too, but my plans were changed so I dodged that bullet. I can definitely make it to Thanksgiving.
-
Well done!

I don't have cheat days. I try to always have a healthy option available. So, if I am going to a party I eat before and take a fruit bowel and/or veggie tray. If I want a taste of something, I don't necessarily deny myself, but I won't eat as much of it.
-
Yup, I will be stealing that. Yum
-
Also, on those days that I don't have the time/energy/supplies to prepare dinner, I have a back-up plan. I have acceptable meals picked out from surrounding restaurants. My husband and I cut out fast food completely so that we are not tempted to eat outside of our healthy life style.

I like to have easy meal ideas in mind and on hand for the days that I work late. My favorites are tacos w/carb smart wheat tortillas, salmon and frozen veggies, steak and frozen brussels sprouts, fajitas, turkey burgers with sweet potato fries, homemade pizza on whole wheat crust, chicken stir fry with brown rice... all…
