I concur on the stretches. They've helped me tremendously. And when I run and I start to feel the slightest tinge of shin splints, I'll stop and do some more stretches.

The weekend was good as was the start to this week. I'm happy to report that the impending shin splints of doom have not occurred. I finished week 1 today. I had to repeat a couple days. But I finally made it through the "week" and it's nice to see a little progress. Onwards!

I did W3D2 today. I made a mistake on Monday where I decided to skip ahead a week. Bad move as it didn't go that well. I need to take my own advice and realize this isn't a race to finish. So I went back to the WD I was originally scheduled to do today and it went much better.
