Not sure I did this right. So, I'll give it another try. After giving it some thought I realized what I like about starchy, bready foods is how filling they are. I can get the same effect with these cauliflower versions, which mean I can eat more..not sure that's a good thing, to eat for volume, I mean. :blush:

My favorite healthy foods revolve around cauliflower. Cauliflower pizza, grilled cheese, "mashed"potatoes, etc. I think I love it because it takes the place of bread, rice and potatoes. Because of this thread, I've found myself checking out the huge selection of oreos in the grocery store, but I'm an old fashioned gal, I guess. I usually have an omelet every morning. I use whatever veggies I have, sometimes add cheddar or cottage cheese. Fresh basil and tomatoes are my favorite. Also I always have hard boiled eggs in the fridge, good for an easy, on the go, protein packed snack.
