  • Set your macros according to your goal weight, keep your fat/protein/carb counts within those parameters and you should be good. 1-1/2 lbs. weight loss per week is what I set for my goal when I started.

  • I rarely weight myself, and I don't measure. My clothes are my scale! I've weighed myself recently in the past month twice simply because I went to the Dr. and they insist! :-/ I find the scale depressing if I don't weigh what my 'goal weight' is.
  • I've read that if you "confuse" the muscles it will do exactly that! I mix it up by walking, running and throw spinning in the mix. My first choice is running but I hit a plateau. The spinning helped rev things up it seems. Also, changing the time of day I work out I think has helped. Just a guess based on things I've read.
