  • If you aren't hungry go to bed. If you feel like you could eat, have a spoonful of peanut butter. Healthy fat and protein.
  • The only sweetener I use is Truvia, it is also natural.
  • We can all do this...... I look forward to my weigh in on Monday. I have been doing excellent.... If you wouldn't mind sharing the Chicken Salsa receipe with me I would greatly appreciate it...
  • Hi My husband and I bought it. I have not been consistent with it I admit, but do use several of the DVD's to switch things up, just not using one of the "oulined" programs. I'm not a very small female, I just either take breaks(pause the dvd) or I will job in place or modify something if I feel I can not do it or it is…
  • Hi Um... yes, hubby and I get up between 4 and 4:30. We do anywhere from 2-5 miles on bikes, then I come home and do 30 minutes on the treadmill and I have been doing Jillian's 30 Day Shred as well which is 20min or 28 with warm up and stretch. If I don't get it done in the morning, it's likely not to happen. We do go to…
  • Welcome!!! If you keep coming back here, you certainly will "find yourself again". Holding yourself accountable seriously works.. I never thought I'd say I look forward to weigh in's once a week, but I do... ;o) Friend me if you'd like. Good Luck! I'm sure you will do great.
  • What a difference... you look awesome!! Rock On!!!
  • I do Jillian's Whey Protein occasionally, but I find that eating eggs, chicken, cheese oh and chicken ha ha, I get enough protein. I usually go over in protein every day. You might try eggs and chicken and cheese for snacks with a fruit or veggie?
  • Welcome! Feel free to add me if you'd like. I'm here every day as well!! ;o)
  • I'm not sure of your entire situation but, my husband benefits when I prepare the meals. This doesn't work for every meal, and he is not nearly as overweight as I am, but he tends to eat pretty much whatever I prepare. I even at times will plate it for him, so he gets the right portions etc. We try to only cook the correct…
  • Chicken, Eggs, Peanut Butter
  • Cardio Trainer is what I use as well...
  • I just started today, but did a "modified" jumping jack. Basically the same thing except you have to alternate legs.(kicking out to the sides) and not jumping. I keep my arms going as you would though with a regular jumping jack.. I sure hope this makes sense. It's hard to explain. Oh and you could always do what I call…
  • I just bought myself a "SPECIALIZED" Crosstrail. It's a hybrid bike that can be used on trails(no stump trails) and the road, so the best of both worlds.. I plan to use it on dirt paths eventually, right now I've been riding on the road with it. They are a good manufacturer, one of the top I think. You can google them and…

  • Welcome, you have come to the right place. I too have over 100lbs to lose, have lost 8 total in two weeks time.(since I got serious) Last year I had lost 30lbs with this website, then I got ill and was not able to get back at real life until this spring. I'm back at it now and I'm already feeling better. Believe in…
  • First off everyone is different and everyone will have a different opinion. I would say that it is going to depend on you. If you have exercised in the past at all, I would start out by doing just 20 minutes of some physical activity while you get used to a new way of eating. Healthy Food Intake + Water + Excercise = A…
  • Wonderfully said.... and so very very true.
  • You Rock!!!
  • Welcome!!! Funny that we have similar goals except I have about 20+- additional to lose.. I just bought a bike on Thursday, it has been the first bike I have owned since I was like 17, long long time.. LOL I too bought it so that daughter, hubby and I could ride as a family on some rail trails around this state. I have…
  • I'm in.... SW 254. Goal 244
  • Welcome.. You can do it. This site is wonderful for support. I have just over 100lbs to loose, just recently got serious about it. Add me is you would like. Have a happy healthy day!
  • I might offer this... The way MFP is set-up. It figures your calories as if you were not exercising at all. You simply need to eat back the calories you burn. So if you add back your 400 calories or even half of them it would bring you to 1600 or 1800 calories respectively. Just my thoughts I'm sure there are many others.…
  • Well if you have soup on hand, you can take a couple of those and use them like dumbells to work your arms, shoulders and back. I have done this before. Just might need to do more reps because they may not be heavy enough. You can also do ab work and do not really need anything except a floor. These are just a few…
  • Hi! Try this website. I have used it a few times. As long as you know the exact ingredients, you can figure out the nutritional value. http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php I hope it does the trick for you.
  • Hi I have found them a bit off, but not too bad. I however are a bit anal, so I went and bought a HRM so my calories burned would be more accurate, so far so good. The one I got was about 100.00, but they do have less expensive ones.
  • You have come to the right place. MFP is awesome.. Not sure what I would do without it.

  • Thank you everyone!!! Making the shopping list this morning and will be heading out to stock up on lots of healthy foods. The hardest hurdle I have is my families schedule. I know I can do it, it will just take a great deal of planning. My husband has an unconventional schedule and my daughter goes to her MMA program…

  • I agree with bmacneil. Though I'm just a wanna be runner, I went to get properly fitted as I do a great deal of walking. I have a wide foot and a moderately flat foot. A local store watched me walk barefoot and then I tried on three different types of sneakers. I ended up with Brooks and I love them. I'm actually due for…
