Hi I wear an HRM daily when exercising. I can tell you this. I'm 242 lbs and I burn anywhere from 400 to 580 for 60 minutes of circuit training. Bare with me on this question, but are you wearing it in the right spot?

I work out at 6:00am, usually up just before 5:00 so I am awake by the time my class starts. I usually just have a half of a Low Sugar Detour Bar with my vitamens and a glass of water. Then post workout it's usually a protein shake or sometimes just a Greek Yogurt with Kashi Go Lean Crunch and some fruit. It seems to be…

I drink the Yogi brand green teas, Blueberry Slim Life and Pomegranate are my favorite. I only have a couple cups a day. My husband is going to begin taking green tea extract for the health benefits maybe I'll try that as well since it's in the house.

Most often I have a protein shake with some kind of fruit and almond milk however some days I choose to have egg whites with a bit of cheese and veggies cut up. Good alternative and doesn't take long at all.

Honestly.. I used to like soda. I hadn't had soda in any form for about a month. My hubby bought a diet pepsi and I thought I'd take just a swig... It's actually too sweet for me to drink now.. I honestly just gave it up cold turkey and will now not go back.

I work out mostly mornings, at least 4 days a week. I usually will have a protein bar, or a half of protein bar with my vitamins for the day and two glasses of water, about an hour before I work out. My workout begins at 6:20, so by 5:20 I'm eating some protein. That tends to sustain me right through. Then post workout…

At first glance over the past 4 days, it appears as though you haven't quite reached 1200 calories.. Do what you can do bring your calories up to 1200, maybe adding some more protein? If you exercise try and eat back those calories as well, to have to much of a deficit does not work for some. Keep on moving forward it will…

I like this; GNC Pro Performance® AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60™ - Vanilla

I have them for breakfast four times a week post workout. I use 1 cup Almond Milk, 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened fruit(berries of some kind usually) and 1 scoop and a half of GNC Pro Performance® AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60™ - Vanilla....(I mix it in a blender and like it that way much better than any other. It is…

As for almond milk, I buy Silk almond milk the vanilla flavor. It is 90 cal. A serving, but I usually only have a half a serving at a time. It's yummy.

An HRM at least most have a chest strap that measures your heart rate. Once you buy one you enter info into it like age weight m/f etc. This information combined with your heart rate will calculate your calories burned. It's pretty cool.

I would recommend getting fitted by a pro at a running shop or something. I have a wide foot and like Mizuno, Brooks and New Balance. Good luck.
-
My husband uses both nip guards and Nexcare round bandaids. If you use the bandaids put them on at least a half hour before you run so they can adhere so as not to fall off. Runner reviews are good on them and they are cheaper than the nip guards.

Congrats... Feel free to add me if you would like.

I agree, getting fit by someone is the way to go. . i have a wide foot but wear Brooks Adrenaline and New Balance(all models) consistenty. I always have several pair on hand. I bought my first pair through the running store I went to, to get fitted, then bought the same online when I could on sale. Shoes for your feet are…

Though it may be pricier, here is how I feel..... I would rather know that I'm supporting my local farmers and eating healthy at the same time. Paying a few cents more per lb for something is worth it to me. I will not claim to always buy local however I do buy local a good percentage of the time. Thank you local farmer…

Hi I do use a HRM, and I love it. It is set to my current weight, height etc, and from what I understand it is as accurate as it can be. Most of the machines that you would use at a gym are pre-set for male and female... I think the female weight is like 130-or 140? I maybe wrong, so don't quote, I just know that I'm no…

I use a Polar F6, If I remember right it was about 100.00+-, and all I had to do was put in my weight and height I think, age?? Can't remember exactly, it's been a while, but then it tells me what I've burned in calories, where my heart rate is at, what the average heart rate was for the duration of the workout, time etc.…
