i've been doing this for 10 days so not as experienced as some folk on here, however i make it my priority to ensure i get all my 1688/1700 cals every day, last night i had a piece of cheese to finish off the last 130 cals i needed. I have broken it into meals and i know how many i must try to eat and if i miss, i have to…

Have you tried this link tog et your numbers and the explanation of exercise is different/clearer http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Have a look and let me know what you think

it depends, i'm going to assume that the total content of the meal is with your calorie budget, if it is i would put in fridge and eat it later. However my hubby and son, as they are not on a calorie defict diet, if they leave anything i tell them to throw it away, because 1. less temptation for me 2. i need to trust that…

could you not do a few days pre planning and then just eat what you've planned for? i have 3 days where i layout in the fridge (in a box) exactly what i can/will have and just eat everything in the box, i track those 3 days all in one go, normally on a sunday. it tends to be Monday/tuesday/friday as those are my busy days.…

I've run your numbers via scooby calculator and I've based you on 5/6 hours per week of strenuous exercise for your activity (is that right/).........because tis VERY important to get the activity level right (I ahve been told :) ) BMR - 1646 TDEE - 2840 CUT - 2272 (based on a 20% deficit) I was also told to change my…

go to the Drs' i have a b12 deficiancy and i have to have a jab every 8 weeks as even though i eat the right things my body doesn't absorb B12. They can do a blood test and they will tell you if you are deficient. and will treat you. Sorry just seen your post about Drs and Insurance, so not sure what else to suggest. PS: i…

I agree with the previous poster, it sounds like too much restriction, this is a life style change not a diet and you need to be able to sustain it for ever and i'm sure at some point in the future you will want to eat cake/sweets/crisps/etc. How many calories are you having and how much are you trying to lose. I use my…

Actually it was a very small thing, i'd booked my holidays and was kinda consoling myself about my weight, my internal braining rationalising everything " i'm not that big, i've been bigger........... i'll buy new clothes and i'll look great,............ i'm not a sun worshipper so i don't need to sit out in my cossie" etc…
