seriously... There is no quick fix to getting people to lose weight. And telling them not to eat someting that they love is not helping any one. I will never give up my cheese, I just make sure I have room for it in MFP

Same thing happned to me. I increased my calories for a few weeks then slowly decreased them. Turned out I wasn't eating enough. Try adjusting your settings to lose weight slower, it might help. Just don't give up! I know you can do it! :flowerforyou:

When ever I use canned beans or vegetables I drain and rinse them. It helps reduce the sodium.

I love the 321 cake! I highly recomend this if you want something sweet!

Yum! Bump

I don't know about the sodium but I usually get the Margarita Grilled Chicken. Its 550 cal for the whole plate and I usually can't finish it. :drinker:

I love my Keurig too! My favorite is the Cinamon Pastry coffee or Chai tea!

My favorite place to eat in DC is Tony Cheng's. Its an all you can eat Mongolian BBQ, not very MFP friendly but definately worth it if you like Asian food. www.tonychengresturant.com

I refuse to go give up my icecream! Its even better now that I got a new icecream maker. I don't make it often but when I do its with heavy cream and 1/2 & 1/2! Its my splurge

You can also put on some music and dance around with your 5 year old. Kids love to dance!

I work for WIC and we do iron screenings on our participants. We recomend any meat (not just red meat), fish, beans, dark green leafy vegatables (kale, collard greens ect), rasins, and iron fortified grains. One of the best iron fortified cereals is Multigrain Cheerios. So yummy! Also if you're having trouble with low iron…

It could be the different water since you're washing your face at the gym. My skin is very sensitive to changes like that.

Ice Cream hands down! So I just don't buy it. But my husband did buy me an ice cream maker for Christmas...

I have not personally had to go through this but a friend of mine did. Her great dane was (is) over weight and tore both rear ACLs, about a year apart. My friend did opt for the surgery both times and Roxy (the dane) made a full recovery both times, and was back to her old energetic self in no time. I hope this helps, good…

Depending on where you are its a bit early in the day for a beer... but I kinda agree with billsica. Its ok to take a day and 'recover' mentally or emotionally, just keep it to a day. Or you could do like you said and eat something light, work out and evaluate your day. I know I always think better when I go for a run or…

Be aware of your serving sizes, eat lots of veggies, and prioritize with your favorite foods. If you don't like mashed potatoes that much skip them. Don't go hungry, and plan on going for a walk or hitting the gym that day. Thats my game plan. I'll let you know how it goes when I get back on the scale.
