I think you have to make sure your calories goals are set to the same number on FitBit and MFP. That might have something to do with it. My negative is never huge. I'm really not sure how it all works, though! You might want to just turn off the negative calories setting if it bothers you.

I don't really have a range. I have a maximum. Unfortunately, I went over it in December, so I'm back to eating at a deficit for a few weeks to get back down below it.

I'm new to Fitbit, but I enter my exercise in MFP and it registers in Fitbit. It changes my calories to what I tell MFP I burned during the specific time period I entered. I have the two synced and it seems to work well. As far as the negative calories goes, I don't pay much attention to them since it's usually earlier in…

When I first started working out last year, I did my workouts in the mornings. I tend to go to bed late (11pm usually) but I still got up at 6:30 and worked out before getting the kids ready for school. I work full time, but I work at home. So now I have started trying a different schedule of not showering when I get up…

It was pretty bad, especially since it was a group photo of me and several friends - and it was clear how much heavier I was compared to all of them. I had never been that heavy in my life. The pictures of me from 2013 holidays were an amazing difference, and a great motivator to maintaining my new, lower weight through…

I saw a picture of myself at a Christmas party last year (2012) and finally realized I had gained a lot more weight than I realized.

I might be interested in doing the "Busy People" workout. I can't see the schedule without paying. Are there rest days incorporated into the program? How many days/week are you expected to work out?

I broke my streak and have been terrible about running. But I did get a run in on Friday and walked the parade route with my daughter on Saturday. I'm hoping to get a few runs in this week since the weather is going to be nice.

-What's your calories per day? 1500-1700 + exercise calories (calories loosely based on TDEE) -Height, weight, age, gender 5'3 1/2", 134 lbs, 41 yo, female -How many times do you exercise per week? varies, right now I'm doing a running streak, so I'm running about 1.25 miles every day; usually I work out 4-5 days/week,…

Got in a 1.25 mile run on the treadmill today.

I will be. I'm trying to do this running streak thing (Thanksgiving to New Year's Day) but missed a few days already due to illness. So I really don't want to skip anymore days. That means I'll be going for a jog after we open presents on Christmas morning!! Maybe I'll be wearing my new Fit Bit, if it's under the tree. :-)

I didn't manage to run at all on the weekend, but got 1.25 miles done on the treadmill this morning. Finally over this virus, so I'm hoping to get some good running in this week!

I'm 5' 3 1/2" and my original goal was 140lbs. When I got there, I decided to go for 135. Now, I'm trying to stay under 135, so I fluctuate between 133-135. I'm pretty happy at this weight. I'm just working on exercising to tighten things up a bit more. After the holidays, I may try to get to 130, but I'm afraid I wouldn't…

I only kept my running streak going for 7 days. On day 8, this sore throat/virus kicked my butt. But I got out there again today and ran 1.21 miles. And I got to run outside in 75 degree heat!!

Dec 4, day 7 of my running streak = 1.13 miles on the treadmill. Finally put together a ticker for December!
 -
Dec 3, day 6 of my running streak = 1.14 miles on the treadmill. Dec total = 3.34 miles Goal = 30 miles
 -
Dec 2, day 5 of my running streak = 1.1 miles on the treadmill. Dec total = 2.2 miles Goal = 30 miles
 -
I'm also doing the running streak. December 1, Day 4 = 1.1 miles Total for December = 1.1 miles Goal = 30 miles
 -
My December goal is 30 miles as usual, but this time I'm actually going to hit it!

I finally got out running. I've run 1.1 miles three days in a row. So I'm ending the month at 17 miles.

I've also been less motivated to work out since getting to my goal. I'm trying to maintain under 135 and I find that I'm starting to creep up (I was 135.5 today). So I really need to get off my butt and workout more again. But I don't seem to be as motivated now that I'm relatively happy with the way my body looks. I…

I love this idea! I'm definitely in!

Went for two walks on the weekend for a total of 3 miles. I need to step it up and get out there running and/or walking this week to catch up!

My original goal was 140 since it would put me in the healthy BMI range. But when I got there, I decided to shoot for 135. Now, I'm in maintenance and trying to stay under 135 (I'm 133-134 most days) and am happy at this weight. I'm 5'3.5"

Thank you so much! This is great, detailed information. I'm leaning toward something like this, since it's smaller than a power rack but has multiple bar catches: http://www.****ssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=17108466&locale=en_US&clickid=prod_cs&recid=Product_PageElement_product_rr_4_11  I guess…

Got in a 2 mile run at noon before the cold, wet weather rolls in!

Thanks. So I want a bench, power rack and weights then, right? Is it important to have the incline/decline feature on the bench? I have to admit that I looked at Craigslist and it sort of grossed me out in terms of what people were trying to sell. I think we'll probably make this our big Christmas purchase this year and…

It's very personal. I'm one of those people who paid for the membership because I thought that paying for it would make me go. It didn't. I wasn't really motivated to lose weight and get in shape at that time. I paid for my membership for about 8-9 months and only went a handful of times. Luckily, it was a month-to-month…

So with the Flex, you actually leave it on 24/7, including showers, etc? That's pretty cool. I'm putting it on my Christmas list. Would love to hear any additional feedback about it.

Went for a 3.64 mile run yesterday.
