  • I'm going to London, Paris, and Munich. Thank you for the tips - I am definitely bringing my own healthy snacks so I am not starving come mealtime. I am hoping that the walking will counteract any extra calories I will no doubt be enjoying. Sharing meals is a great idea.
  • Ok, so I have met my calorie goals 2 days in a row and i am going for #3 today. It is so great waking up in the morning when you know you stuck to the plan the day before. My mini-goal for today is just to stick to the food plan again. Once I have made it a whole week I will add additional goals. Just trying to keep it…
  • So far Week 2 has been great. Yesterday went so well and I feel back on track. My only goal today is to stay within my calorie goal. If I can do this 2 days in a row I know that I can do it the rest of the week. I'm planning to add more steps and water as the week goes on, but for now, I am focusing all of my efforts on…
  • Thank you for the encouragement everyone. I feel so much better knowing that there is a legion of support behind me. You guys are the best!
  • No weight loss this week. I am not surprised since I lost all will power on my weekend trip. No traveling this week, so I will have more control. Recommitting today and REALLY trying not to get discouraged...but it is so hard.
  • Me too, Alex. Yesterday was good, but this weekend was not so great. I have yet to successfully get through 7 days in a row without going over my calorie goal. Today's mini-goal: Eat several mini-meals instead of 3 bigger meals.
  • Rough weekend trip food wise. I cannot be trusted away from home yet. On the bright side, I walked like crazy but I am pretty sure it won't be enough. Very disappointed. I am worried about my overseas trip at the end of the month.
  • Yesterday's Goals Revisited: Take at least 15,000 steps - FAIL!!! I made it to 11,000 and I could have pushed myself at the end of the day. Stay within my daily calorie goal - ACCOMPLISHED! Drink 64oz of water - ACCOMPLISHED! Log food and exercise - ACCOMPLISHED! Day 2 Mini-Goal: Carefully plan ahead before I go out…
  • I just wanted to let you know about a Community Group that was just formed yesterday called the 100 Day Challenge. It grew organically out of a simple idea to make a real, all-in, no excuses 100 day commitment and to provide support to each other while doing it. Today is just day 2 and I have already experienced an…

  • I'm going out to eat with friends tonight. Looking forward to the company but dreading the temptation. I have already decided what i am going to eat and what portion I can eat in order to stay within my calorie limit. The challenge for me will be to resist the temptation to order a drink! Wish me luck!
  • Hi Tannun! Thank you for bearing your soul to us in your introduction. Wow. I just wanted to let you know about a Community Group that was just formed yesterday called the 100 Day Challenge. It grew organically out of a simple idea to make a real, all-in, no excuses 100 day commitment and to provide support to each other…
  • Bluestarlight - Kids are the best motivators. When I was a teacher, my students were always so sweet and helpful. That has got to make you feel great!
  • Don't forget to also take your measurements, everyone!
  • It takes a lot of guts to show your gut. :) I'm proud of us! Let's see if we can encourage others to commit. This is a safe place!

  • My Garmin Connect name is littlefury. I'll send you a friend request.
  • As a fellow "heaviest I have ever been" of 5'0", I can definitely sympathize. I desperately want to get back into the 1 hundred teens. Our little bodies don't want to be this big - we can do this!
  • Hi, I'm Kelly 35 year old from Orlando, FL I saw myself in a picture a month ago and freaked out because I had secretly been gaining weight. A horrifying trip to the scale confirmed it. I was fat. My goals for this 100 days Take at least 15,000 steps per day (my current average is about 10,000) Stay within my daily calorie…
  • Starbucktigh posted a "daily mini-goal" in another thread and I thought that was a great idea. Weight loss is a long, arduous process and setting daily goals is a great way to experience a little success every day! My daily mini-goal: Avoid the cookies on display in the kitchen. How they mock me.
  • I love the idea of a daily mini-goal. Mine for today: resist the cookies that are on display in the kitchen. How they mock me.
  • I'm in. I desperately need some more support and accountability to really push myself into doing this all the way. Great idea and thank you for suggesting it!
