My daughter gave me a hug and her hands overlapped. She said, "Mommy you're getting so small"! That made my day =)

I weighed 193.9 on January 1, 2012. As of March 20, I am at 183.6 so down 10 and hoping for 2 more lbs. to keep my 1lb a week average going! I'm 5'6'' and just purchased my very first size 8 pant. Full disclosure: the jeans were made with stretchy 'buttersoft' denim lolololol.

Good job! The most that I've lost in one month is 8 lbs, but I didn't have to give up specific foods. Just ate less and exercised more =)

I'm 190 now but my goal is 173 which would put me at a healthy bmi and look great on me =) Oh btw I'm down 50+/- lbs from where I used to be.

I'd do it any day EXCEPT Christmas! What a mean way to ruin someone's day. Wait til New Years when everyone is making resolutions and offer to help them achieve a weight loss goal.

Try to eat vegetarian for just one day a week. Or, you could try to limit meat to one meal a day. Best wishes on your weight loss journey. I'm also doing a pound a week.

Well, since I've spent every dime on gifts for my kids & ME I won't have any money leftover to buy food. Have you seen the price of a HoneyBaked Ham...$70 for ham!?! So I should be well under my calories on Christmas day =)

I'd agree under normal circumstances, but when you need the occasional "cleansing" drink Senna Tea. It's an herbal stimulant with no weird side effects. I use it once a week. Cost about $4 bucks at Krogers :drinker:

There is no way to spot treat one particular area of your body during normal weight loss. You have to do cardio & strength training together to get the best possible results. I'd talk to a doctor about the pain & locking up in your stomach area...that doesn't sound too good. :embarassed:

The key to getting an accurate reading is to check your heart rate repeatedly while you are walking/running on the treadmill. I try to check mine every 3-5 minutes. Or, if I'm doing interval training, I check it every level change.

I used yesterdays diary entries and boy-o-boy do I hope this comes true!!!! If every day were like today... You'd weigh 185.9 lbs in 5 weeks

I'm almost there but I did not lose all this weight only to find it again. I can't imagine going back to my old miserable ways! I plan to keep using mfp to track my calories and its a good tool to use when you plan on going out to eat.
