I buy the chocolate flavor w/protein and flax from GNC, mix it up as directed then drop 8-10 unsalted almonds in it. Tastes just like a Hershey's w/Almonds! It's my 3:00 snack and under 200 calories :smiley:

I love PF for the value. Not too concerned about what others think. I've lost 60+ lbs doing both strength and cardio training. As for the $39 annual fee, its a lot cheaper than $39+ a month.

I have the Fitbit Flex activity monitor and honestly I don't think its very accurate. It gives me calories burned while I sleep..Huh? And the sleep mode is so unnecessary. I'm never gonna go back a week or a month to see how long I slept Lol. My opinion is buy a Heart Rate monitor and you will get a better view of calories…

My holiday party tips are: 1. pre-log what you plan to eat. You can always go back and adjust later 2. wear tight clothes ie spanx or tight jeans so that you don't overeat 3. stand and eat. I tend to eat less when I have to walk around holding a plate in one hand :wink:

I CONCUR! I had a similar problem. Turns out I had a fibroid that was causing the heavy bleeding. See another doctor asap!

Muscle weighs more than fat. Toss the scale and use a measuring tape. My guess is your losing inches and developing muscle tone.

And that is what worked for me. I just passed the 2 year mark and I've managed to keep the weight off just fine. I don't eat the same s*** I used to eat as a kid period. These studies and researchers are full of crap imo.

Just my opinion but no this is not normal. Get a second opinion asap! I did and found that I have a fibroid tumor the size of an orange! I am not sure if losing weight had anything to do with it, but I'm glad that I did lose it. If I hadn't lost the weight, I'm not sure the doctors would have been able to feel the fibroid.…

I copy meals (usually breakfast) as well. I tend to pre-log in the morning that way I can plan and adjust my calorie burn as needed. If I have plans to go out to dinner, I look up the menu and nutritional info online ahead of time so I can stay within my goals. I don't like surprises! :wink:

Congratulations! I too am celebrating 2 years (or 740 days of logging) of better health and Zumba was a major part of it. I love it because it doesn't feel like I'm working out and I typically burn 500-600 calories an hour. Keep up the good work!

KEEP CALM (smile)! I wouldn't panic if I lost 11 lbs already. Your weight will flucuate due to reasons beyond your control (ie hormones, limited food choices, priorities, etc). Just try to stay within your calorie goals and keep exercising and you'll see the results

Bad for your wallet. Buy your own green tea and make it at home. That way you control how much sugar goes into it.

Move on AND be grateful that he told you now and not five years later after marriage and kids. Now as for the dieting; you have to do it for yourself period.

When I first started mfp I logged EVERYTHING! I was obsessed with logging lol. I would log spices, non-calorie items like gum and splenda, etc. Now that I'm maintaining, I let a few things slide ie a bite of someone's dessert or a sip of wine. Nothing major though! If it's an entire glass of wine...I log it.

I've use them and I don't recommend them for heavy flow days. And I especially don't recommend using them during sex as it will get pushed out of place. HOT MESS NEVER AGAIN EPIC FAIL

Makes perfect sense to me. I'm in maintenance so if I go over my cals I know I need to get a good workout in or else it will show up on the scale. Btw I just ate a paczki so guess I'll be working out tonite lol.

Uhh yea it does. I entered my height and weight when setting up my goals. But otherwise I do agree that yes it is an "Estimate".
