I like Half Quinoa and Half Brown Rice with Rosemary, Cayenne Pepper, a bit of Kale and Chia Seeds. I add shrimp for protein.

I did the 30 Day Shred for August. I was pleased with the results - not much in terms of pounds but I definitely lost inches. In fact during Workout 2 I gained 2 pounds but lost it quickly when I started Workout 3. In the end I lost 5 pounds. In addition to 30DS I did extra cardio - my goal was 400 burned calories a day.…

My mini goal is to workout (30 Day Slim Down Challenge plus extra cardio) and to not eat back at least 400 calories.

So don't eat them then. No one stated "OMG!!!!11!!! THESE WILL TOTALLY MAKE YOU SKINNY LIKE TOMORROW!" Some like them for taste, some like them for fiber, some like them for texture. All of which have nothing to do with YOUR individual weight loss journey.

I crave salt at night. So when a 160 calorie pack of Lays Chips won't cut it I'm all about anchovies. Yes. Anchovies. In crushed red pepper. I realize that I'm not hungry I just want salt. So one serving (5 fillets) usually does it, which a calorie count of roughly 35.

Chia Seeds work for me. If you are making smoothies/juicing put them in there. I put them in salads, on hummus sandwiches, anything really. The reason they are so filling is that they "expand" when they come in contact with liquid.

Probably just a baked potato and water. Fast food is disgusting overall when you consider taste, texture and calorie count.
