I love red, ginger hair - especially when it's on Hayley Williams or Karen Gillan's head.

Yeah, what rabbitjb said - I've seen people claim to be burning 1000+ calories for a few hours of housework. It's crazy random.

You'll hear 'weight loss isn't linear' a lot on here, you'll hear it for a very good reason. Nothing about this is predictable, just keep going and don't try and predict what's going to happen or you'll do your head in.

I'm having pancakes with nutella later.

Lol at eating before bed being a bad idea, it's basically in our DNA to eat late on in the day, it helps with sleep usually. I have four moderately sized meals during the day and a larger one late on before getting into bed. I do this with carb back loading by the way. It works very well for me, google it and see if it…

Are you a tiny dwarf man? Because if not, that's too big of a cut.

Moisturiser.

I can only his imagine his bum is in severe pain 24/7 and his toilet is smashed to bits and he has to just use a hole in the floor. His teeth must be in tatters too from eating iron, he must be like Jaws from the James Bond films.

Weighing your food is 99% of knowing how much of it you are eating. Obvious solution is obvious in this case.

You have no right to try and dictate the nature of the responses you get, people are allowed to think as they do and respond accordingly. There should be a rule on here against trying to dictate responses like that, it's just not cricket. You haven't come on here for people's opinions, you've come here hoping for only…

That all sounds like a whole load of super hippy rubbish, but at least it has you able to eat plenty of nutritious food. I just don't think being told certain food is forbidden is healthy and any skin problems you have are likely to be as a result of something that isn't anything to do with what you eat. But, I could be…

"When you're craving lettuce, eat chocolate cake. It's better for you because it's cake and it tastes of chocolate. It really helps if you're trying to find a reason for living."

When I was 12 I had an alcoholic version of Irn-bru and was literally immediately sick. It was like it had hit some spring in my stomach and bounced back out. End up covering my Mother's new carpet in orange vomit, she didn't complain though as she bought it for me in the first place.

Standard 'you can't spot reduce' response, keep burning fat and it'll come off there at some point. I noticed a big reduction in fat on my sides first as well, took a while longer after that before I could begin to see my abs. Edit: Pull your damn pants up.

Cheat day or cheat meal? A cheat day to me is quite an epic thing (I used to do them a long time ago), so if your idea of a cheat day is the same as mine - that'd be what's responsible for your lack of progress. Calorie deficit is key, there's no way around that. If cheat meal, great - just record it for a while.

Lost 42 lbs, gained 7 lbs, so you're 35 lbs down from where you were.

I suffer with depression too, it goes round in cycles - some days you feel fine, but you know a day will come when you don't. It's not so much motivation that gets you through, but habit. And at the end of a workout, don't you always feel just that little bit better? It's a good place to aim to be, the post-workout high…

It's two of the most ridiculous things spouted on here (the fear of sugar and the whole 'detox' thing), combined into one ball of hilarity.
-
Sorry, I can't, there's a Jurassic Park repeat on.
-
Is this yet another generic 'why I'm not eating sugar' thread, or is it the same one?
-
Noooooo, they'll just appreciate that a love of angry killer dinosaurs bridges all age gaps.
-
I need someone to set me up on a blind date just so I don't look like a weirdo going to see Jurassic World on my own at the cinema.
-
What works for you? Because whatever it is, that's how much you should have.
-
Nope.
-
How long did it take you to gain those 120 lbs? Think about it, you didn't gain it quickly, you won't lose it quickly. Slow and steady means the weight you lose will be mainly fat, and it's more likely you'll be able to stick with it. If you aim for quick results and crash diet, you'll likely give up and put more weight…

I am eating this food because I want to eat this food. OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM.

10/10 for an attention grabbing title.

Me from UK too, the North part...but I don't have any motivational powers. However, if my exercise/diary/weight/random status updates do anything for you, you're more than welcome to read them. But I should say I am totally against buzzwords like detox, cleanse, clean eating, 'processed' food, etc. I won't judge anyone for…

I like this thread, personally my only conditions are that the person sending a requests sends a message too. I have been friends before with people who have a strict set of criteria for who can be friends with them. Usually set around how often you post updates, being super serious about your fitness goals, etc. Unless…
